I would think Dirrell was in for a lot more than i previously imagined.

One point is missing: Besides of the first Miranda and the Gevor fight AA never had to be very active. What if AA finds out that he only has a chance if he KOs JT? AA always says he's not looking for a KO (but if it happens it happens). What if Uli Wegner, AA's coach, gives him the order to steamroll over JT and KTFO him?

Abraham wins by knock out, JT has been on the decline since the 2nd Hopkins fight, I mean for **** sakes he struggled with Spinks, which is also why I think Dirrell is winning against Froch, though Froch did beat Taylor, I think Taylor was there for the taking.....

I'm probably reading to much into something Jermain said the other day, but I think he MIGHT have let something slip that they meant to keep under wraps. He was talking about how his training focused on the late rounds, but then he said, "if it goes that far." And he sure as hell wasn't talking about AA stopping him.

I have thought all along that with JT's rep as a front runner, and AA's rep as a slow starter, it would not surprise me to see Jermain come out, put the pedal to the metal, and hope for the best.

if he wants to win I think thats the way to go about it, He is explosive early on in the fight, when he has everything speed and power, I think he can take advantage of AA being a slow starter however I wouldnt bank on that, it only Took AA three rounds to get rid of Miranda, keep that in mind.....
But should he start fast I think he will get some good damage done, and he can build on that later on in the fight.

I really can't think of how this is going to work against AA, but as I said anything is possible. I would think that AA then starts to fight back like in the first Miranda fight and if we don't concentrate on the jaw broken twice too much, then we see a Miranda in big big trouble. JT is no Miranda, but I'm not convinced that he has a better chin or punches harder (but faster of course).

It's also possible that AA could be fresher and stronger at the new weight and have more energy to fight at a higher pace.

We could see a more offensive Agraham at this new weight with a higher work rate.

This is very possible. He came in at 168 on the dot. But could he be slower???

If he was any slower you'd have to use a time lapse camera to film his fights!

Since this tournament format grants an extra point for a knockout win it makes sense to expect more aggressive tacticts. The problem with Taylor is, he can get overanxious at times and waste lots of energy. I expect him to be a bit more cautious after owning himself in the 1-st Pavlik fight.
