Still mythically considered the "strongest man" in the world. Consider the state the the division has been in and the recent criticism of alot of Heavyweights.

I accept that with our current HW champion ... Wladimir Klitschko and I think even more of his brother Valiti ... These guys are great. There has been some threads about them against the all-time great HW fighters in the history of boxing, I even started one myself ... and there has been debate back and fouth ...

Do you guys think that this should be thought of now, or ever?

    Thoughts?

Wlad and Vitali have a very little fan base in the US, and if anything it's getting smaller, rather than growing. There are a bunch of reasons why, the UFC, no competition for the borthers, neither brother is charismatic, and only Vitali has somewhat of an exciting fighting style, his brother style is about as visually appealing as a 300 pound fat ***** eating a bucket of chicken in KFC.

The Klitschko brothers just dont have that "It" factor to get the worlds attention like a Tyson or a Holyfield from a decade before, just in Germany are they looked at as stars.

most definitely, two HW champs that are as exciting as watching paint dry and competiton thats morbidly obese. no reason to get excited about the HW divison, the MW's and the super MW's are the cream of the crop nowadays.

No, I dont have tapes dating back to early 1900's. Though it's every bit as weak as the 80's, maybe even weaker imo. The talent just isn't there. You have either fat sluggers with extremely little skill level taking on the Klits, Peter, Arreola, Austin or just plain undersized heavyweights with next to nothing to scare the Klits, Brock, Chagaev, and Iggy, Gomez, Bryd.

I know most would call me a hater, but the Klits are dominating. I would actually like to see them go at it, not only would it tell us who really is the best heavyweight in the world, but it would also get the average american fan's attention again, back to the heavyweight division.

The Heavyweight champ could never be considered the 'strongest' in the world but was considered the 'baddest/hardest man on the planet'. Although not a huge fan of MMA (although i am a fan), that title must now go to Brock Lesnar and Fedor Emilianko.

Its a shame but with Wlad as our ruler, the MMA guys are a lot more appealing to the public in style and aggression. Wlad fights like too much of a ***** for most peoples liking.

As for sheer strength, I'd put Wlad up against Holy, Tyson, Lewis, etc.

The guy is the epitome of strength and physical conditioning.

Strength is only a small part of the fight game, if it was that important every strongman would be champ of the world. Wlad's good at beating C and B class fighters, Im sure the tables would turn if he fought an A class fighter like Holyfield or Tyson in there primes.

thats because HBO knows how to promote a fight, it doesn't mean there were 2 million klitschko fans watching.

Arreola has a huge Latino following in the states, which America is now made up over 20% in this country, thats not including illegals. So it's safe to say there are more Arreola fans, than there are Vitali fans in the states.

The HW champ was never considered the "strongest man" in the world. He's often referred to as the baddest man on the planet.

Some of you do realize that a world exists outside of the USA. Over 50% of all of Germany's inhabitants watch Klitschko fights, while Americans tend not to like them they do have a fanbase outside the US

As for the baddest man, yeah Fyodor Emelianenko gets that title

Pudzianowski is stronger than Wlad, Vitali and Fedor.

No! You simply have an "It factor" that does not allow for appreciation of the klitschkos.
