I think American sports fans are warming towards Eastern European sportsmen. I was glad to see Fedor Emelianenko get mentioned, along with strongman standout, Marisuz Pudzianowski. Aleksandr Ovechkin is also immensely popular among North American Hockey fans.

Wladimir is The Heavyweight Champion inside the ring and outside he is a gentleman.

That is very good for the sport of boxing.

Spanish is the 2nd language in the US, I would hope Cristobal against the top guy would do at least that.

is that what it is??? how do you know what my preferences are?? why are you making those assumptions? on what grounds are you accussing me on this? you dont know me or where im from. as far as you know i can be from afghanistan or alaska. i could give two shits where the klits are from, their both boring as **** to watch and they struggle agaisnt competition where their suppose to knock out in 4 rounds or less. "greatest HW of all time"??? dude, get off this forum and beat off to the klitschkos if you think they're their GOAT's.

well unlike the klits, fedor destroys his competiton in exciting fashion. im a HUGE fan of fedor, and i hope he's undefeated for a long time. well, at least undefeated since that bull**** loss due to a cut.

Marius is currently the world's strongest man, but is he stronger than a prime Svend Carlson or Magnus Samuelson?

Anyway, back to boxing... is the heavyweight champion the strongest, toughest... I think the real question is, "Who is the heavyweight champion?" Until you clear that point up, the former question is moot.
Right now, we have two very good fighters on top (with a bunch of crappy ones below), but those two very good fighters will never fight each other. We can't have a true heavyweight champion until one of them loses or retires. Imagine if Ali and Fraizer never fought, each legitimately claiming to be champion. Who's to say which one was the real top dog, and who was the pretender. Each has a good claim, but without facing each other, neither has a DECISIVE claim.

You think maybe because they're white? Holyfield wasn't charismatic. Tyson was a media creation. Hmm........
