Taylor has the edge in speed, competition level, size, counterpunching and overall skills.

Abraham has a clear edge in power and durabilitiy.

    - Regarding Abraham's edge in stamina: I know a lot of people think this will be the deciding factor but I do not think it will come into play. AA fights in SPURTS and does NOT put consistent pressure on anybody. Even in the second Miranda fight at a more comfortable super middleweight weight, AA did hide behind his shell defense and then exploded in spurts.

    - Regarding AA edge in power: AA has huge power and if he lands flush it will be all over for Taylor. However, I do not think he will catch Taylor. However, there is a minimum danger he will KO him.

Taylor will win by decision though it will be competitive. Taylor will break through AA shell defense because he did so with Wright. AA has no counter punching ability so Taylor will go to the body without too much to worry.
Question is: Can Taylor win a close fight in Germany?

I agree with most of the points you made. If only these fights could be held in neutral countries :think

Well, I have watched a lot of his fights and I suspect that you haven't watched AA in enough fights. Abraham hides behind his shell defense and fights in spurts. He does not put constant pressure on you.

Very true. He holds his gloves up high and walks backwards quite often.

You said he has no countering ability, which just isn't true. He often steps back, lets his opponent over extend, then steps forward with a left hook.

AA is not an effective counterpuncher. He puts himself behind his shell defense on the ropes but does not counter of the ropes. AA is relying primarely on his power and explosive combinations to win fights.

I think Taylor is more than capable as long as he stays away from the big shots. If he can work him to the body and get him to drop his hands then he has a good chance. But I just feel one big shot from AA and Taylor will retreat and take a bad beating. How many more of those can he take.

I put 3 Euros on Taylor, getting back eleven. I'm not sure I'm picking him on the prediction league though...

You've clearly not watched much of Taylor if you believe he has to be pressured to tire.

It is pretty obvious that you don't tire from nothing. It is either pressure like against Pavlik or hitting air with too many bombs against Hopkins. Taylotr won' be hitting air against AA and AA is not an effective pressure fighter.

Of course AA' power could bail him out but I do not see it against Taylor. I favour AA over Direll and Froch though.

Did you guys see the tale of the tape? After seeing that Abraham has every advantage in the lower body area i am going with him... Taylor will not be able to effectively move for 12 rounds with those chicken legs.. i suspect another KO.

Taylor tires becuase he is too tense in the ring, expends too much nervous energy and lacks stamina. This has been commented on many times.
