Carl Froch knocks out Andre Dirrell between rounds 4 and 8. Jermain Taylor boxes to a convincing UD (or MD with the judges in Germany) over Arthur Abraham. Give your verdict on my predictions. :bbb
I'm picking both aswell. I would vote option 1, but I'm still not entirely convinced by Taylor yet, I think Abraham still has a chance of a knock-out in the championship rounds. Agree with the Froch prediction, though I don't think it'll be before 7.
I'm almost sure Froch will win. Not sure on Taylor versus Abraham. Abraham is a big favourite for a number of reasons, but I have a sneeky feeling that Taylor will showcase here.
almost picking option 1 as i know froch will win. and i think the only plausible outcome of the A.A/J.T fight is a J.T decision or an A.A ko.
Very close IMO. Spot on with JT vs AA. I think Dirrell will be KO'd < 10 Will be a very happy man if you are totally correct though!
Dirrell has never felt power like Froch's. No way will he be able to cope with it. Dirrell will get through a few rounds by backpedalling and boxing in survival mode, but Froch will close the gap and get him out of there sooner rather than later. Too strong, too seasoned. Pascal is a far better fighter than Dirrell, remember that.
Those are two good predictions. The JT-Abe fight could resemble the JT-Lacy one. If I had to bet 1000$ of my own money tonight I would put it on Froch. I wouldn't be super shocked if both predictions are wrong.
Im agreeing with the results, but not the prediction.I'm thinking Froch between rounds 6 and 10. If Taylor can control the demons i think he'll beat Abraham quite convincingly,i also think Abraham will be shocked by how hard Taylor can bang and it'll be interesting to see how he reacts if Taylor does start landing his big shots. Froch by KO/TKO between rounds 6 and 10. Taylor by UD,or late KO/TKO.:good
I'm shocked at all this talk of Taylor being a huge underdog. JT is the man with experience of fighting above 160, he is taller and rangier, has faster hands and feet, and an excellent jab. Many people think that this fight will be a carbon copy of Froch-Taylor, but I think Taylor is too smart for that. He took Froch lightly and didn't work on his cardio, which was a mistake. But he paid for it dearly and he won't make that mistake again. I actually think Taylor is a real live contender to win the Super Six. He is a quality boxer, and if he can just get some consistency going he could box his way to glory!
Just checked the fight predictions on another Boxing site. All the American contributors/journalists seem to think Dirrell will beat Froch quite easily !! They also predict an easy night for Abraham. Taylor has only been KO'd Twice,a 7th round KO loss against Pavlik after throwing everything at Pavlik to try and finish him after the KD in the 2nd,and the other a KO loss to Froch in the 12th. Now all of a sudden even some well respected boxing journalists are predicting Taylor will be stopped late in the fight !! its as if he's spent his whole career being KO'd in the championship rounds atsch
Was like that after Zag beat Hopkins, everyone thought Pavlik would cream him hence 5-1 odds on Hopkins winning. We all know how that ended! Just goes to prove styles make fights and in reality you're not only as good as your last win.
I haven't forgotten and I totally agree. Thing is that Pascal came to fight and I reckon Carl will have to chase Dirrell down and make him fight. Hence my estimate of under 10 rounds. The more Dirrell runs, the longer he prolongs the inevitable agony
I was thinking Froch win by ko but Dirrell is real good on his feet so I dunno, I think it will go the distance, what size is the ring? I think Taylor gonna gas n get rocked in the 2nd half, Abraham by tko
