I don't think he is. If he was, he would have lost to Clottey. Probably would have got knocked out.

I always laugh when people comment on how Cotto struggled vs. Clottey. To me, that was a huge win with a huge handicap. He literally fought the hardest WW with one eye and still managed to squeeze a win out of a fight that was hard to look good in. And believe you/me, I watched the fight several times and had it scored three different ways, so favoritism is not a factor in my judgement. To gauge Cotto's chances against Pac because of his performance vs. Clottey, you gotta be an idiot. I honestly think Pac jumped the gun in turning to Arum and saying "I want Cotto next"...IT'S SUICIDE...YOU CAN'T WIN!...LMAO.

Damaged goods my ass. A one-eyed Cotto beat Joshua Clottey. I don't think Cotto is at his very peak, but he is far from being damaged goods. LMAO at people pre-discreditng a potential Pacquiao win. If Cotto beats Pac, they can say a damaged goods Cotto beat Pac.

We will find out on nov 14th even a slightly depreciated Cotto knows how to fight and nullify a physical phenom such as pacman. Pac is absolutly incredible but he is a limited technitcian. Those individuals who are in awe of his ability are neglectful when studying the man's footwork, lunging and lack of boxing technique. He blows away his comp because he's levels above them as an athlete. Cotto has the potential to totally blow him away by simply applying patience and controlled agression. Cotto naturally gets started mid fight, if he can stay healthy and on his feet passed the initial pac barrage he should coast to an easy UD or a possible tko. If pac proves me wrong then so be it, but I trust my exp. My major concern focuses on a well fought battle worth the money being dished out. Good luck to both warriors the 24/7 should be classy and inspirational.

Why do you think Clottey let off the gas in the last rounds...Cotto was catching him with counter left hooks. The end of the 10th round Cotto landed 2 flush counter lefts in a row and Clottey went passive after that. You can see that Cotto, even with one eye, still had enough skill to keep Clottey at bay. Even Clottey admitted it.

He is not the same fighter...if this was the cotto before margo I would pick him by KO over this version of pacquiao....At this point I'm still leaning cotto by decision, but Manny has a very good chance to win...

:bartCotto was training himself the last few fights. He wasn't even speaking with his uncle. Evangelisto would just put his 2 cents in and oversee the workouts...

No, not to me. If he was, he would have been beaten badly by Clottey. To some fans, if Cotto wins, he's not damaged goods. If Pac wins, he's damaged goods. Go figure.

Shane Mosley and Judah softened up Cotto for Margaritoe. He's been in decline ever since 2007.

clottey is a trouble for any fighter in ww past and present. jennings was fight cotto didnt even want for those that dont know. he wanted a stiffer test or the rematch with margarito. cotto is a complete fighter and for all those that say nobody throws those extra punches when cotto is hurt ....there is a reason for that. he can turn the fight with one punch. margarito looked very "determined" against cotto but when mosley fought him after the plaster was found pre fight he looked like the wind was taken out of his sails during that fight. cotto wil beat pac and i say that with respect for manny.
