Dude and your the one that had paulie beating Diazatsch I thought you liked the classic boxer type? Man me and you are like night and day when it comes to judging fights. This was the worst decision ive seen ever in a major title fight, and ive been watching fights as a hardcore fan since the late 70's.This was worst than Chavez-Whittaker or Holyfield-Lewis 1.batschJust complete Bullsh-t and i Cant believe froch could sit there with a straight face talking about how he won the fight. Dirrell showed class by not having a winthorp(see trading places) Sorry Sorry decision:---patsch 117-110 Dirrell
Dirrell won round 2 & 3 Froch also probably only landed one punch in round 7 but most the round was controlled by Dirrell.
114-113 Froch Direll simply wasn't active enough in the middle rounds, which cost him the fight. I would have scored it a draw, but for the bull**** point deduction. People crying "robbery!" are being silly. It was a close and boring fight that went to the hometown fighter. That isn't the same as a robbery. If you look at the scorecards of such people, they scored almost every round for Direll, suggesting they didn't watch the fight or apparentely score hugs as punches.
1. Dirrell 2. Dirrell 3. Froch 4. Froch 5. Dirrell 6. Froch 7. Froch 8. Dirrell 9. Froch 10 Froch 11. Dirrell 12. Dirrell If Dirrell has learned anything from the fight (and he should have) it is to fight with urgency the whole fight and not after your corner tells you that you need a KO. He fought masterfully in rounds 11 and 12 for my money.
I actually thought this fight was easy to score round by round.....the rounds dirrell one, he used the jab, followed by a right hand and kept froch in the middle if the ring....when it became a brawl or a inside fight(hugging in dirrell's case) froch one all those rounds with the exception of the 11th, that was a "brawling round"....
Your supposed to score on 'clean effective punches' who lands the most, not who hugs the least. Froch didnt land anything I had it 116-111 (because of the point deduction).
As I said in previous post I'm a fan of pure boxers that use a great jab and ring genralship....but ****, dirrell held 35-45% of the time, that is not boxing......117-110 dirrell are you blind?
I did, anytime the fight was on the ropes, in the corner, or on the inside froch scored cleanly....anytime dirrell was in the middle of the ring he scored cleanly....I thought froch edged it with one round even...
Jeff you are obviously a very biased fan. I really thought youd see this fight as a big time robbery as i did. Diaz beat paulie 114-113 and you thought paule got robbed? ok thats not so insane, but you had Froch winning:?atsch I just dont see your concept of judging. I appreciate the guy who presses the fight aggressively, but Dirrell made Froch look like a clumsly journeyman, and im not gonna even bring up the dirty fighting from froch and the sh*t ref!
115-112 Froch I hate Froch and i know he easy to beat but tonight Dirrell didn't do enough , he was close and got everything to do it but just stay shy!!
