The Abraham v Taylor fight got things off perfectly, especially with the dramatic late KO. Then we see Dirrell outbox Froch. I wanted and expected Froch to win but as the fight wore on I was rooting for Dirrell and that sinking feeling came across me again. That feeling I got when I watched Diaz v Malignaggi. I could tell there was going to be a robbery. And it was undeniable that Dirrell won that fight. He boxed smarter, his defence was good, he smothered any attacks and landed the much better shots. His jabs also worked better. How on earth can Froch win that decision? It's also notable that the commentators in the UK are trying to re-write history and say it was an "awkward" nights work for Froch. Awkward in the sense that he lost for the first time. ****ing bull****.
No. If a cowardly prospect like Dirrell won when all he did was run around, it would have. Froch outboxed him and won a decision. Next we get to see Ward get KTFO by Kessler.
You cannot expect to steal a world championship belt by running and grabbing. Had Dirrell fought the entire fight like he did in rounds 11 and 12 after his team told hikm that he needed a KO - then he would imo. have won clearly. However, up until rounds 11 and 12 he honestly stunk out the joint. Running, grabbing and falling over his own legs.
You clearly dont know how to score a fight so shut the **** up. Super Six is still the **** besides the robbery but what do you expect? Even Dirrell's corner told him he's not winning a decision in Nottingham.
So a spectacular last round KO and a controversial disputed decision with another two fights in the opening bracket and the series has lost cred? I think not.
Didn't see it with my own eyes yet but reading the round by round it was obviously a close fight. Throughout the thread there are comments like "hard fight to score" and for every round until the 10th, some people are giving the round to Froch while others to Dirrell. There are even comments like "I know Dirrell is gonna get robbed" which is a sign that Dirrell is not winning rounds clearly enough to put them in the bank 100%. Apparently even his trainer said he needed a KO towards the end. Sometimes scorecards are baffling but its not as bad as people make it out to be. The integrity of the Super Six remains untouched in my eyes if when I see it the fight reflects what was described in the round by round. If anything a close decision likes this makes the rest of the super 6 more interesting.
It's lost all credibilty after that shambles, those judges have ****ed up big time. FROCH WAS EXPOSED!!!
His trainer said to Dirrell that he needed a knockout as there was no way of getting a decision because it was in Nottingham. I am completely objective and never watch fights through blind patriotism. If someone gets robbed then I'll call it. I never even cared for Dirrell before tonight, but he clearly won the fight in my eyes and the scoreline was an injustice.
Responding to this guys **** is useless bro. In the words of Mark Wahlberg from the Departed, "Treat him like a mushroom, feed him **** and keep him in the dark".
