Has the Super Six lost it's integrity already?

Super Six has lost it's integrity when there is a runner instead of a boxer in it.

Its still a very exciting event, but its no doubt lost some of its glimmer. To start off with the sleep inducing Taylor-Abraham(until the KO) and then a dodgy a decision is disappointing. I assumed there were safeguards in place to prevent that sort of thing.

look I had Malignaggi Diaz a draw. I haven't scored this one yet but I'm not gonna cry robery.

Dirrell has to do more if he wants to win, its really that simple. He is obvoiusly a much better fighter but that was running tonight at times.

Dirrell is on another level tallent wise compared to Froch and he didn't show it, you have to throw more than that before you cry robbery.

The trainer said he cannot win a decision because of hometown judging, and he was right. If you really stretched it for Froch you could probably give him 6 rounds, if you really stretched it for Dirrell you could probably give him 10 or 11. Dirrell clearly outlanded Froch, the only way of scoring it close is by penalising Dirrell for running at times heavily in your scoring.

I suspect that Froch was gifted the decision so that his fight with Kessler will be a potential unification fight which would sell out thousands of seats and loads of PPV numbers.

Still the same old dodgy boxing shenanigans.

Froch fought like everyone expected. IF you think he was exposed you must be new to boxing.

We all (well many,...) expected Dirrell to be faster and technically better than Froch - and he was. The thing is that he (despite his skill and speed) tried to negate the fight for the first 10 rounds. He was running and grabbing and falling over himself. This is not a way to steal a world championship belt..

In rounds 11 and 12 he showed his tremendous skill (and actually threw with intentions... instead of just slipping and slipping..), but only after his team told him that he need a KO. Huge learning opportunity for Dirrell.

Whether Dirrell fought a pretty fight or not is a matter of aesthetics only. He won the fight and showed just how limited Froch is.

Just because Dirrell won ugly doesn't mean he lost.

Yes, the super six tournament is already tainted. What a **** up.

    Yes.

We, the poor fool boxing fans, thought that this super-six concept would actually lift above the usual **** we have to deal with. Finally, the best in the division would be fighting the best in the division.

However, it looks like it is just going to be concentrating all the best and worst of boxing into one tournament.

Expect more ****, in your face and with no apologies. That is just how it is.

How could Froch have possibly believed that he would have defeated Calzaghe? I thought that Dirrell ran and held a little too much but he clearly landed the bigger shots and made Froch look like an amateur. Kessler is going to annihilate Froch. Abraham might have trouble with Dirrell if Dirrell corrects some of his mistakes.

Dirrell started to kick his ass from the 8th-10th not in a close fight but seriously beat his ass where you thought Froch was going to get at least put down. Those three rounds were the only ****ing rounds where there was one clearly dominate fighter. All of the rounds Dirrell outlanded Froch. Each and every single god damned one of them. Froch did not even throw a lot and when he did he was hitting AIR. Not arms.. not elbows. But swwwshhhhhh. AIR. He was throwing combos and missing the entire thing. Then Dirrell would pop him with the jab or counter with the straight left out of the southpaw stance. Dirrell was throwing body shots all night ..landing... Froch probably landed a literal handful. Froch was aggressive but he was getting countered and did not LAND ****>. I dont mean he landed 2 shots out of every 7.. nah..he did not land ****. Not a jab, not a hook. The crowd was ****ing out of the fight the whole fight. If Froch was landing then you could talk ****. Bitches.

It wasn't a robbery, but it was a gift decision. But it was a messy match and both should have been disqualified(harsh).
