you say he landed more effective shots???? but how were his shots effective if carl walked through most of them.... had a clean face after the fight.....

while andre's face was ****ed up. and he was backing up the whole fight....

who's shots were more effective given those facts?

I judged who landed what by watching the actual fight, not by how they looked after the fight. Some guys bleed more, bruise more, cut more, etc, and some don't. Dirrell got popped with some jabs, but a little blood coming from your nose doesn't mean you got mauled, it means you got popped in the nose. ****, JT was knocked stone out by AA and wasn't bleeding. Apparently he was just fine if that's your criteria.

 

Froch was wobbled a few times in the fight. In fact he was afraid to fully engage and looked tentative when he had Dirrell on the ropes or in the corner. And he was put on the ropes himself and backed off a few times, particularly late. You act like this was Margarito, shrugging of shot after shot, but Froch was clearly tentative and wary, and did his best to not get hit.

froch walked through most of dirrells shots, while dirrell did everything to avoid froches shots, which included, clinching, taking a knee (not penalized), complaining to the ref, running ect....

I think froch's shots had more of an effect on dirrell then dirrells did on froch. Because dirrells shots didnt really bother froch( other then a few times)and he kept on coming foward, while andre ran out of fear.

I know you're a troll, but I'll humor you. He held because that's what you do when you're not an infighter, you want to break the other guy's pace, and you want to get some space to do work.

He went to the canvas because Froch was leaning on him and and pushing his head down and he didn't want to waste energy fighting back and tire himself out.

Better question is why was Froch to terrible at cutting off the ring (it has corners for a reason) or landing anything meaningful when Dirrell was in front of him and stationary? Hell, Froch's best changes and the best punches he landed were when Dirrell was moving away with his hands nowhere near his chin. He should be glad Dirrell did that because it's the only time he landed anything other than a jab.

 

Because Froch is a much stronger fighter and wanted to Brawl... If Dirrell went Toe to Toe like you wanted him to , he would have lost ... HE FOUGHT HIS FIGHT, WHY DON"T YOu UNDERSTAND THIS? DOES CAPS HELP? ITS BASIC ****ING BOXING KNOWLEDGE
