getting attacked. According to him, when pacquiao gets attacked, he doesn't know what to do. He is also willing to help Team Cotto reveal secrets if asked. The last time Chaves worked with Pac was during the second marquez fight. Since Pac has improved, I dont think that will really help.
. Just remember that PAC's cutman for this fight is Miguel Diaz, a long time cutman of Cotto... Miguel Diaz can also reveal important information about Cotto to Team Pacquiao if they will ask him... Miguel Diaz was PAC's cutman in the Hoya and Hatton fights... Actually I think PAC likes it when his opponent attacks him... .
I agree, Pac loves being attacked. When pursued, Pac runs like scared, stops suddenly and throws his left straight that usually drops his opponents.
That didn't work for Hatton. I think Pac might be weaker being the attacker, or trying to make the first move forward.
Then he sure didn't exploit it in the second and third fights... Not that it would have mattered anyways, as Morales was shot as **** at that stage. Pacquiao of 2005 is a far cry from the current fighter we see today.
Cotto is much bigger than hatton and is way smarter boxer then hatton. This advise is right. Cotto is the bigger man, apply pressure on pac. If cotto lands the bombs he did against Margarito pac will get knocked the **** out. But so to could cotto, cotto needs to go to the body early to slow pac down, this is the key to his victory.
I believe using his strong jab liberally will be the key. Morales was able to control Pac with his jab. Marquez had his best moments when he setup his offense by using his jab. Diaz had no jab. ODH barley used that great jab of his. Hatton has a pawing jab that pac countered over. 1. The jab. 2. Try and block his lead left. Marquez could duck it but Cotto might be to big for that. 3. Cut off the ring and go to the body.
