Body slamming, punching during the break and rabbit punching are far more justifiable for point deductions than clinching. Has Hatton ever been deducted a point in his whole career for clinching?
froch is overrated and he wil get ko'ed next round...dirrell made that ass think twice about coming in with them bull**** punches....dirrell rocked that ass at least 3 times while froch did nothing but hit gloves...hes a bum...jt made him feel like a god...look at his face t the end he knew he lost ...he kept asking his corner....he is overrated and he had the nerves calling out calzaghe and im not a fan of dirrell or cal but he lost last night and calzaghe wouldve beat his ass
as for AA...i think he will have a problem with dirrell cuz he gonna do the same as last night..hopefully the fight happens in america...
Of course he was. He was hitting round the back of the head a lot. But be objective & open-minded in this, there's a reason he was hitting round the back of the head, and that being he was attempting to dig shots in the side and Dirrell was leaning in with the head. The body-slam incident was initiated by Dirrell. No point deduction for that. And I would of said the same if Dirrell had done it to Froch. Punching during the break happened once, and it's more than plausible that he didn't hear the referee's instruction given the deathening sound in the arena, which in fairness I don't think most American's understand given most of the US fights are like funerals with no atmosphere at all. And the rabbit-punching was pretty persistent, but non-intentional - see above. Not only did Dirrell clinch, he leant in with the head inside a bit, and leant Froch over the ropes backwards with his elbow, as well as deliberately falling to the canvas to avoid getting hit. And in answer to your question. No, Hatton probably didn't get a point deducted in his career for clinching. Should he have at any point? Possibly. But there's a reason he didn't. He threw punches and worked in the inside, instead of doing what Dirrell did yesterday, which was jump into clinches with no intention to throw punches or engage, lean in with the head and then complain to the ref.
Why? Because Dirrell can't handle the heat away from home? Because he doesn't have the composure or balls to actually fight & engage?
How the **** would you know whether I am a Hatton fan or not? Why make stupid assumptions when you're been here 5 minutes? Tool.
Froch was using the dirty tactics because he is a veteran just like what hopkins does in his fights. It's called using intelligence to make your opponent uneasy in the ring and gain an advantage.
Dirrell ducked his head low constantly. Froch hit him a couple of times to try to stop that. If anything Dirrell could have been docked more points. Froch should have lost a point for the judo throw.
