Foreigners can get decisions in the US, US fighters cant get decisions abroad. Sorry thats the truth.

I thought Dirrell had it WIDE, but I didn't, for one minute, expect the judges cards to reflect this. Not because of where it was staged - my cards are often wider than those of the pro judges, wherever a fight is being fought - but because the fight was a mess. There were rounds where it was possible to make a case for either man depending upon what you prefer out of Dirrell's cleaner hitting and defence or Froch's bullish aggression.

Aggression is currently overated in boxing's scoring system. This is not a secret. It's seen over and again.

What strikes me is how incapable people are of seeing any other version of the scored reality other than their own. It's ridiculous. There are hardline threads on the forum for both fighters. Neither can see the other's point of view, and genuinely thinks they are wrong...it's tiring.

The talk of a fix is ludicrous.

Honestly, to listen to the people on this forum, there's a Toney-Tiberi every week.

In his previous fights Direll was a destroyer. Thats not his style, it was Carl Froch that made him do all the things he did. We all want to see a Mike Tyson, James Toney type of fighters with warrior attitude, power and skills but we accept Mayweather's style of being extra cautious, but what Direll did is unacceptable.

This was always his style. Really, what are you talking about? He's never been anything but a boxer.

He always fought like this man.

In his previous fight he fought a 5'6 MW clubfighter.

False. Timothy Bradley got a decision in the UK. Last I checked he is a US fighter.

We all knew going into the fight Dirrell was not going to get the decision !

A tragedy that his first loss comes off a buls**** decision !!

And Froch looked like an ametuer in the ring last night !! Carl the Cobra no More like Carl the Garden Snake !!

Negative tactics and taking a 6 round breather does not win you a boxing match.
Had he put on the gas like he did for the 10th & 11th rounds he wound have won the fight easily without a SD. But he was too focused on "surviving" for the middle rounds.

It is great aggression is 'overrated' on scoring system. If I have to see another one of Dirrell's impression of Usain Bolt and any more of these 'defensive master class' I'll give up watching boxing.

Right, because there are never any questionable decisions in the US of A.
