Dirrell 115-113, 6-4-2 in rounds, clean effective punching (well, more like... landing punches when Froch couldn't) and the strong finish.

Dirrell won the boxing match. Froch won the FIGHT.

A draw might have been a fair result.

All these topics are ridiculous (not so much this one). Surely everyone can see a case for a win or loss on either side?

I'm a froch fan but last night was terrible to watch. I wouldn't have complained no matter which way the decision had gone.

Morning after, just logging in and dont have a scorecard.

To be honest, didnt think i would need one. Not a Froch fan but he clearly won. Not even debatable.

Lots of the usual "I am seen a few fights so I think i am qualified to judge" lot on here, not to mention the USA V UK crap.

Gets old and it embarrasses yourselves

I was there and it was a terrible fight to watch..

Dirrell boxed well at times but he didn't do enough, he complained, clinched and fell over WAY too much which ruined the fight for him. Froch's performance was disapointing but being the aggressor taking the fight to Dirrell I would say Froch won. Close though.

People dont understand the Ring Generalship, Effective Aggression, Defense an Clean and hard Punching are used to score a fight.

So if you are landing clean and hard punches, you are probably winning on Defense too....thats 50% of the scoring criteria

Froch didn't hit dirrell's face hardly at all. He just threw alot when he had dirrell cornered and maybe landed 1 out of 8 each time they showed a replay of it. Dirrell was snapping frochs head back and making him look foolish. You didn't have to ask yourself if dirrell hit froch because it was obvious. Showtime did right by not having no punchstat. There would be no way to justify it. Froch is a dirty bar fighter and is worse than I thought he was in the skill department and chin department.

No way froch won 7 rounds of this. ANd that 10-8 round some of you all are giving froch is BS. That 10th round was 9-9 because dirrell almost knocked him out at the end of the round.

    Flat out BS For boxing.

You'd really have to be swinging on Froch's nut sack to think he deserved that win. He got outpunched and schooled. Dirrell got robbed.
