    Speak for yourself.

A close fight isn't a robbery either way. A clear shut out is a robbery.

I think Dirrell won the fight (marginally) simply because he did what is the whole point of boxing, "to land soring punches on your opponent" stalking round the ring, being the agressor is all 'supposed' to be irrelevant if you dont land 'scoring' shots.

What last night did tell me is that prime Calzaghe walks this tournament, I think he gets Froch out of there inside of 6 and beats AA by wide decision. Abraham is my favourite to win the tournament, but last night tho he won by KO was too static in his movement, I had him trailing until the KO too, If he couldnt quite deal with angles and frequency of Taylor's punches then it wouldnt have been anough to deal with JC.

It is supposed to be scored by rounds and, contrary to popular belief, all rounds are to be scored fairly, no 'champions bonus' in close rounds.

I think Dirrell could have won the fight. More likely if he had grabbed and ran even a bit less he'd have been sparked out. He lost the fight by two rounds, but if aggression is factored in ever so slightly more, he'd have lost by 8.

According to the scores Dirrell won 4 rounds, it's a joke. It wouldn't happen to that extent in America as it wouldn't be allowed on the big networks. I agree with that Welshman Calzaghe when he said english boxers are jokes. Froch would have lost that fight over here. It makes Sven -ottke decisions look legit.

    Hi All,
New to the forum. Ive never got involved in a discussion on a forum before but after watching the fight this morning I felt I had to share my thoughts on this one. Been watching boxing from a kid and never seen anything like that. I had Dirrell winning a clear unanumious decision. He boxed a smart fight against Froch's style. I did feel he could have stood and fought a little more at times but he landed with plenty of good accurate shots to win the fight. I really cant believe froch got the decision. Its disgraceful!

This was a pretty big jump for Dirrel but I didn't see him as nervous. I thought he was rattled by Frochs style which was strong and I wouldn't say dirty but rather pushing it a little. I thought that forced Dirrel into even more of a running, holding mode and you have to give Froch credit for that. But at the same time you cant rail terribly about Dirrel's shenanigans either. I don't have a problem with the decision but I wouldn't have had a problem if Dirrel was givin the decision either. Guile is part of the equation in boxing and Froch didn't seem to land near as much.
