Whilst I had Dirrell winning handily, I can't agree with this statement. Very few of the rounds were clean and lots of them were difficult to score. In spite of seeing it wide for Andre, I wasn't surprised the decision was split, that kind of fight.

With point deduction: 113-115.

If I give all the 'pick'em' rounds to Froch that I didn't already give him, it would be 114-114.

And with the point deduction, it would be 114-113.

In rounds, I scored it : 4-7-1 in favour of Direll.

Changing the 'pick'em' rounds: 6-6.

The point deduction, while possibly merited, came without warning and overall, I feel was unnecessary.

Two judges scored it 7 - 5 for Froch and one scored it 7 - 5 for Direll.

Nearly all of the rounds were close, so 'robbery' and 'gift' are inapplicable here.

Direll was the much more skillful and faster fighter here, but he lacked sufficient aggressive output. Which is a pity, as he definitely had it in him to do better.

Defence counts, and Direll frequently made Froch look foolish, swinging at empty air.

But a minimum modicum of offence is needed to wrest away the title, especially if you're not laying any serious damage on the champion. And Direll failed to do enough to close the show.

I would have awarded the fight to Direll, but I'm not surprised at the decision.

Assuming he can learn from his folly, I would put my money on Direll in a rematch.

Pretty much exactly my opinion, give or take a round or two. I thought it should have been a draw, but that dubious points deduction cost Dirrell the fight on my card. Dirrell would have won had Froch been deducted two points for rabbit-punching and bodyslamming.

True, although I have no problems for people who scored a close fight for Dirrell, eg. 114-113 or 115-112. It was a close fight and crappy refereeing ultimately dediced the outcome.

I had it 114-113 Dirrell, but I can't get upset at it being scored narrowly in the opposite direction. The point deduction was brutal.

This proves my point how close this fight was....i had rounds 2(agreement) 3, 6, 7,9,12...for froch....it was a close fight...i have no problem with a close dirrell win...but a WIDE dirrell or froch win I have issue with..

And I had it closer than almost anyone on the site I was scoring on. Three separate English Froch fans called it a robbery. Maybe two of those Dirrell rounds were close and could have swung the other way, but there's no way Froch won 6 rounds, at least based on what I saw.

Bull**** scorecard. the rounds you gave to Froch he hardly landed a clean punch, 2-3 are you ****ing kidding me. I had Dirrell winning by two points.:good
