How did his chin stand up in that one? Pascal isn't really a banger

He was clearly rocked by Dirrell, almost did a chicken dance towards the end of round 10, I believe. Dirrell is seen as one of the weaker punchers in the tourney. Dropped by Taylor, who's not what you'd call heavy handed.

Froch has a good chin, but it's too easy to hit him flush. If he lets Kessler or Abraham hit him flush that many times, he's going to get knocked out cold.

    wow all these absurd statements....

First off, Taylor not a hard hitter, yet Yanks rave about Pavliks chin?

Secondly, anyone can suffer a flash KD, not like he was hurt, he just took one of those things that happens in boxing, Eubank suffered them ffs.

Thirdly, Froch wasn't even close to being hurt, he stepped back calmly defnded then went to exchange.

If you're bicthing because Dirrel has no offence and lost ok, but at least try be truthful.

I've never raved about Pavlik's chin. He's a tough guy, but he can be rocked too and I don't rate Hopkins or Taylor has great punchers.

"Iron" chins are reserved for guys like DLH or Hagler that can take flush bombs without getting flinching. Froch seems to have great recovery skills, but it wouldn't surprise me one bit to see him KTFO against Kessler or Abraham.

I think he was hurt in round 10...Froch suddenly went backwards and was hanging against the ropes taking 3 punches more. He wasn´t badly hurt and he recovered well.

Neah, he really did have a granite chin. Watch his earlier fights but it does seem a little has gone. How can it not really when he does take so many punches to the face every fight.

The Pascal fight was pure war.

I am a Froch fan but I do worry how long his career is going to last or even whether he can hold out this whole tourney with MK and AA coming up. Better start putting those hands up if he wants to continue his career.

He takes huge punches flush and he's only been down once.

Its very good not granite. Hes only been down once and Dirrell made his legs buckle. One thing Froch has is that he never gives up. He's a tough SOB.

    what an absurd thread..
People are acting like Froch got rocked like Taylor did versus Abraham.
I guess they watched the fight tanked up on booze .I was sober and Froch didnt do any "chicken dance" like one poster said.

After seeing what Abraham is capable of last night, I think he will KO Froch.
