Exactly there is no reason it cant be made and lets say the winner gets hurt hell the loser of that fight is still a suitable replacement. I said perfect world though because we know how boxing is.
Crap. He'd jump on the ocasion. But they won't invite him like they didn't when the whole ting started.
It's fair to say that Taylor can still compete but I was thinking he should retire based on cumulative damage from repeated brutal KO's. But I'm not a doctor and there are guys out there with double digit losses on their records.
Agreed .I hope this is under consideration ..I always wondered how a bruatl KO loss would effect this tourney now we will see how it plays out .
I just don't think we should be calling for that sort of thing...Taylor knew the risks of fighting on the highest level before he entered this competition...if he wasn't prepared to suffer a knockout then he shouldn't enter. What Taylor HAS shown in his last 3 KO losses, additionally, is that he has the potential to beat any of the guys he lost to. While KO losses are a big deal (and his were fairly brutal)...he has the ability to still win this tournament. It's part of boxing, and though Taylor has had some tough luck, he deserves the chance to keep going in this tournament. He proved he can compete with these guys and potentially even still win this damn thing! And lastly, Abraham is probably the biggest puncher in the tournament, I don't think Taylor will be subjected to that kind of power for the remaining fights.
