No, Taylor wasn't dominating any round. He won SOME of the early rounds because of activity, he wasn't landing anything at all.
It was more of AA giving away some of the early rounds.

    each round was the same

    Taylor throws 30 blocked jabs
Abraham throws 5-7 blocked power punches

whichever you prefer it doesnt matter, only the KO does

It really seems that we are in minority. I had Taylor ahead by a close margin going into the 12th, due to his work early on. I am sticking with that even if most disagree.

I did not see a dominant performance by AA and I did not seen him landing many clean hard powershots (in fact they were very few).I do not see how anyone can say AA dominated the fight. And no, he was not blocking all of Taylor shots. Anyway, AA won it with no controversy, I am gonna leave it there.

Jermain Taylor is a great fighter who showed he belongs in the tournament, IMO.

However, scorecards don't matter because he was KO'd. The winner was clear.

I have to agree, AA landed very few power shots. Taylors had a low connect percentage but he was busier. Anyway like you said, only the KO matters.

You just have to watch the ****ing last two rounds videos, and see that Abraham DID land many of his powershots. The last seconds KO wasn't coming out of nowhere, he rocked Taylor before in the 12th. It is bizarre to see people claiming that Abraham "didn't land". Other than that, Taylor clearly won 3-4 of the first 5 rounds. But you cannot claim that those 4 rounds somehow magically stretch out to influence who won rounds LATER in the fight. When fighter A lands a knockdown in round 2 and 3, and then proceeds to do nothing in the rest of the fight, he does not magically win those rounds because, hey, he had the knockdowns. Each round is scored individually. Abraham won rounds 5-10 big, but then gave away round 11. You also cannot give Abraham that round just because he looked strong the 6 rounds before. So why do that the other way around because Taylor won the opening rounds ? I don't get it. Is it so important to reiterate to oneself that maybe, someone else could beat Abraham ?

The fight was pretty close. AA's style will allow the fights to be close. Everytime AA threw a punch, the crowd cheered making it seem more effective than he really was. I wasn't fooled. I had it tied going into the 12th. The winner of that round would have won the fight on my card

    Well, you're a ****ing ******. Punching the other guy's gloves doesn't count.

I thought it was even going into the 12th. I scored the round with the deduction 9-9. AA fought as good a fight as he could and definitely got some help from the ref. To me if you fight for 30 seconds of the round, even if you're more dominant than your opponent for those few seconds it doesn't change what happened for the other 2:30.
AA did win it by KO so there was no worries.

Agreed. The fight was close even if some clowns here claim AA was dominant, that is just not what happened. :good

I really thought after Taylor made it out of the 9th and came back out fighting he could take it. Abe was looking tired and really just sporadically fighting towards the end of the fight. JT just did the same thing he always does and has a mental lapse. Good job by Abe finishing the fight strong and fighting to the end.
