It seems the same pattern is repeated over and over when those who predict something that doesn't happen then start making excuses.:patsch

For the record, I found the fight very hard to score and it could easily have gone to Dirrell and I wouldn't have complained despite my card reading 116-113 for Froch. As soon as the final bell went I KNEW it would be a split dec.

Most rounds very close with very little clean punches landed by both boxers.

Those calling this a 'robbery' or 'hometown decision' are merely trying kidding themselves and not fooling anyone.

It was a pretty poor fight and I was surprised how brilliantly skillful Dirrell was, and if he had shown more 'bottle' (heart) he would have won this fight with ease.

In boxing at world title level you seldom win a decision in a close fight by running all night and holding for dear life.

    This was my card

    1.Drawn
    2.Dirrell
    3.Dirrell
    4.Dirrell
    5.Drawn
    6.Froch
    7.Froch
    8.Froch
    9.Froch
10.Dirrell but with one point deducted, hence 9-9drawn
    11. Froch
    12. Froch

116-113 Bear in mind I was actually at the fight and thus not infuenced by tv commentator opinions which are impossible to ignore

As I have said, you may have had a different card from the judges and I can see how many might have had Dirrell winning, but a 'schooling', robbery, or hometown decision it certainly wasn't

If Dirrell wasn't American most people on here wouldn't care. They're just knee-jerking out of nationalism. Froch clearly outclassed him.

There's no way Froch outclassed anyone. That's laughable. What Froch did do was look to fight. Also someone mentioned him scoring on the inside, and I reckon for some body shots too. Anyway he won the fight. He deserved to because his opponent was far too negative. Dirrell lives to fight another day, and not run away as much.

Why are the British Forums of ESB and Boxrec up in arms about the result then? Im British, the posters there are British and 70% on Brit forums (ESB and Boxrec) have it to Dirrell in polls
