I agree. Right or wrong and whether the purists like it or agree, it has always been the case that negativity combined with the occaisional pitter patter and insessant holding cannot WIN you a title away from home. it was a frustrating fight to watch live and that was 30% Froch's fault for being technically limited but 70% Dirrell's fault for being the worst clincher I've seen since Akinwande fought Lennox. The guy has less fighting spirit than Audley
OK, nearly everyone at the fight were huge Froch fans, but I was sitting just behind ringside and a few of the press and they all thought Froch had won the fight, only coming online did i realise how some people had scored it. I really don't understand how Dirrell won the rounds were everytime Froch came close he either ran or held. Froch landed more effective jabs then Dirrell the whole fight. Whoever says this was a great tactical performance by Dirrell must have been watching a different fight. It was a very close fight nevertheless, but no way was Dirrell 5-6 rounds ahead, unless you get points for holding.
It's another big "boo hoo" hard done by Dirrell thread. Maybe he should of... I don't know... fought like a ****ing champion and made those early rounds clear rather than holding all the time!
So what did Froch do to win the fight? He was made to miss with almost every shot he threw while being beaten to the punch every time by Dirrell who landed double the punches Froch did. You d*ckheads should know you cannot score with rabbit punches and you get no points for body slamming your opponent to the floor. Froch was made to look like the clueless mug he is last night and I am sure many will be laughing and feel justice is done when Froch gets KTFO by Kessler.
Were you actually there? I was and Froch looked to me like he landed the jab all fight and did enough to win. The majority of the professionals paid to judge and report boxing seemingly agreed. It's a shame that such an insightful expert as yourself wasn't there ringside to right the clear wrongs of a bad decision
I had a far better view on my tv than you did being there and I had the benefit of the replays showing Froch`s wild crude swinging punches missing the target and then him being countered almost everytime. Froch did nothing to win the fight and no matter if you are at home or in the arena with a bunch of p*ssed up morons rabbit punches do not score. Froch got a gift of a decision last night while being exposed for the limited club fighter he is,I hope to see you posting about Froch after he gets knocked out by Kessler.
****ing cretin. The fight was CLOSE and very hard to score as there were so few punches landed. Just because you thought Dirrell won doesn't make it a robbery you moron.
thats the biggest load of bollox i have ever heard and i hate when people say this ****, the fight should be awarded to the winner of the fight end of, when i hear you have to take the belt away from the champion and you cant beat a champ on a close decision you have to do more if your the challenger, in no other sport does this bull**** apply, to me its just an excuse for bad judging
That's the bottom line, there is too much ***** in Dirrel he needs to take up another sport, boxing is too rough for him.
Oh totally, I didn't have a ****ing clue. I had Froch up when he fought Taylor, so what the **** do I know? Good times though. At least there was a superb team and an awesome knockout.
