Steve Bunce had Froch winning by two points and couldn't see what the fuss was about. Antonio Tarver also felt that Froch did enough for the victory.

Personally, I can see how people could score it 114-113 to Froch or 114-113 to Dirrell. Anything else seems inconsistent.

Close fight similar to Calzaghe- Hopkins

One was plodding forward throwing away other was pot shotting holding grabbing spoiling.

Hopkins I could understand...hes 43...Dirrell knew he was in the UK so knew he needed to press the action...but didnt

I didn't know Tarver had scored for Froch. Tarver's a very good analyst generally.

Tarver said prior to the fight that Froch reminded him of himself...so their may be a bit of bias in that.

give Froch some credit he found away to win, i dont think he will have such a difficult opponent for the rest of the tourney

    No

Tarver basically said sometimes the judges are looking for different things, and you don't know what they're looking for.

Cooler heads will prevail and this fight won't go down as the crime of the century that some over-reacting ****ers on here are claiming it to be. If you'd listened to some people on here the day after Malignaggi-Diaz you'd of thought we'd just witnessed Ottke-Reid II or something. With time people tend to tone their **** down and people will accept it was a tough call decision that could've gone either way.

I don't think he makes it to the second round of the tournament. His next two fights are Kessler and Abraham.

Anybody who says stupid **** like this Really should Look into finding another sport to watch. IN BOXING YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE TO 'TAKE' The title from Anybody. If you win More Rounds by Landing more punches makeing your opponent miss and Just Clearly outboxing somebody That in my opinion Earns you the Win reguardless of weither or not you totally Decimated the Champ or made him Back peddle the Entire fight or Knocked him down.

A Fight is a fight reguardless of if its a championship fight or not, Somebody earlier allready made the Point that Froch is a Brand new champion i mean this was his second defense he is Not like a B-Hopkins who has held the title for 10 years I mean in that case Yea you do need to take the belt from the man Froch will have his belt taken in his next fight most likely I dont know exactly who hes fighting but if it is Kessler and no im not a fan of either i Do believe Kessler will knock him UNCONCIOUS because Froch Has WAAAAAAAAAAAY Over rated power and an even more Overrated Chin. Dirrel doesnt seem like a big puncher at all and He clearly stunned Froch in there fight.

Yea there has been way bigger robberies But you had to know the guys fighting in his hometown In His Country with two Euro judges i knew Dirrell was not getting the decision however I Also Know Dirrell CLEARLY won that fight and exposed Froch to be basically in my opinion a Journeyman. Just look at the Jermain Taylor fight where Froch was once again exposed but in the very last round When Jermain was just walking strait back He caught him with a big punch. Jermain's Chin in my opinion is now suspect after the A.A fight last night.

In an interview he said he would do anything to win including slitting Dirrell's throat. So im pretty sure he's referring to the two dozen rabbit punches, twice times hitting after the break, hitting and holding, holding behind the head, shoving and of course, the suplex.

So yeah, give him credit for that.

It's not true that the British commentary team had Froch winning. Rawling had Dirrell by two and I think Thaxton had Dirrell by one.

Don't know what Bunce was smoking though.

He does deserve credit. I had it to Dirrell big, but Froch has basically overcome the guy in the tournie with the biggest stylistic advantage over him. Fair play.
