Taylor ahead on the scorecards? Gimme a break and watch the fight again. He was deducted 1 point for low blows and still be ahead on the cards?

Very few people had the fight scored for Taylor.

Froch-Dirrell and Abraham-Taylor were actually very similar in some ways. One fighter was the aggressor, but didn't land ****, while the other guy had a lower workrate but landed almost all of the effective punches. The people who had Taylor up in the Abraham fight are actually the same people who should have had Froch up, if you score consistently.

I gave the fight to AA. Taylor was doing more work in the fight but he was not hurting AA. AA punches were hurting Taylor but they were also scaring him too. Taylor seemed like he would back off of AA after he got punched

First I had AA up a few rounds going into th 12th! But since when are punches judged on whether they hurt the other guy? I must have missed that in "judging 101"?
A few points: AA is tough, but how do you expect to let a Kessler or Froch bomb on you for 5 rounds then fight? JT fought very controlled almost scared to go balls out for fear, and rightly so, that in the end AA would wear him down.
The near knock down in the middle of the fight was a punch, then elbow? Did I miss that anyone even talked about that? And AA threw another elbow earlier that just missed.

Saw that too, but after I replayed it for about 5 times it was clear that the damage came from the fist and not the elbow. He hit Taylor on the chin and then touched him with the elbow.

So tell me professor do judges score punches on the effect they have on the other guy or the volume/ connect percentage? Cause 10 punches to 1 better be scored for the 10 unless the other guy goes down.
I have a funny feeling you repeated several gardes in your stellar academic career!!:yep

I had Abraham by two points going to the 12th round. Abraham was winning from clean effective punching.

Punches have to land clean to be counted if they land on the gloves and arms they are not counted.

I had 115-112 for the Dirrell fight in favor of Dirrell.

I had Taylor up by 2 points in his fight going into the 12th round. It was a close fight but I think that Taylor won most rounds, Abraham was just too passive.

Abraham clearly had the fight in the bag even in rd 12. The KO was good for the tourney but the fight was all him. I had him up bigger than the judges official cards.

    PS I am american.
