Because the fight was ****ing boring, we'd been waiting around listening to **** party music for half an hour and one of the contestants was slow and wild and the other wanted man love?
I can only presume that watching it on screen somehow changed the series of events because from my seat (which was decent btw) Andre Dirrell simply ran and held landing the odd flurry and Froch was landing a jab all night whilst also hunting him down and actually attempting to fight. As pointed out above the crowd was quiet because it was a **** spectacle because only one contestant wanted to fight but he is admitidly technically limited and was made to look foolish in doing so. I'll reserve the right to change my view once I've watched it back on the screen but as it stands having been there, close fight but definately no robbery
Exactly thats the way I saw it and thats also the way everyone else around me seemed to see it too. I think I need to watch it again on TV to get a better opinion but the idea of wathching that again hardly fills me with excitement.
Yeah, but it fookin dragged. You'd think a rendition of Ring of fire, Living next door to Alice and Delilah would be plenty but it just went on and on and on. I realised it wouldn't star at 2 when the AA v JT fight went as long as it did but when the Showtime crew were just standing around in front of the cameras and seemingly not saying anything I knew it would be a late one. But sheeeeeeeettt 2.45 was late. Gawd knows how Primetime managed to drag it out that long.
I'd be interested to hear your thoughts after watching the broadcast guys. If you can be arsed of course.
