Froch vs Dirrell controversy thread

well look at the hopkins calzaghe fight ? you gave the fight clearly to hopkins then i take it ? sometimes a fight is more than just who landed the more shots ? froch must have landed something dirrells face was puffed up just because you didn't see it on some low quality stream ? the fight is similar to calzaghe hopkins where the decision was given to the guy trying to make the fight

 

There's no points for landing shots in thin air either.

Froch did **** all.

 

I think it was close and have no problem either way. But Dirrell really is not that good. He has fast reflexes but not much in the way of combination punches and isn't very tough. Abraham, Ward and Kessler all will probably beat him, given the chance. Taylor should retire and let Green or Bute join the 6.

By the way, British announcers are very fair to US fighters when calling fights. I actually think they give too much credit to American style fighters, from the calls I have heard. I'm not sure Froch is a beloved character over there anyway.

 

you would be suprised.. many of the people started out wanting Froch to win but just can't tolerate bad scoring.. myself being one of them..

 

It's called boxing, not fighting. Dirrell won that fight and any reasonable person can see that. Froch was shown up and he knows it so dress it up any way you want but it won't change the facts of what went down in that fight.

 

I don't think he was shown up we all know his strengths aren't speed and slick skills he's a toe to toe slugger with a decent chin.
