The Irony of these posts are as follows: A fighter has to fight according to his strength and weaknesses. Imagine malignaggi having a phonebooth war with cotto. Ridiculous huh? Froch has power so dirrel has to slip and move to avoid the power while attacking whenever he gets the chance. Amir Khan just did the same thing with a fighter who has pillow power. i.e. Andreas Kotelnik. Do I hear mass criticism for him employing that strategy? no! If Whitaker would have stood and fought with Chavez he would have clearly lost. I agree Dirrell should have attacked more in the earlier rounds because Froch gave him many opportunities. I do think he held a little too much. Nevertheless I still think dirrell outlanded him and beat him. Most persons are saying Dirrell deserve to lose because he held too much, ran too much, complained too much and didn't sit on his punches enough and attack in the earlier rounds. While these accusations are true, no one is saying Froch deserved the win because of anything Froch did, only what Dirrell did not did not do. It's as if they are penalising dirrell for his gameplan with a loss on his record!!! This content is protected This content is protected Top This content is protected This content is protected
who you talkin about froch? two fights ago he was a club fighter. beat pascal and became a champ, and now hes a vetran? as far as ium concerned dirrel is the experienced one with the 250+ amerture fights n pedigree
If you had Froch winning the fight, you are either A. A nuthugging Brit in need of dental work and dedorant, B. a total ******.
dirrell clearly landed the more flush & effective punches throughout the whole fight. yea, froch came with the pressure but he hardly landed anything.
YEP, that's how things work out in here... all in favor of your own perspective, no matter how much BS you type!!!
I really only gave Froch 3 rounds, i changed it to 4 to be generous which would make it a 115-112 for Dirrell, it simply was a robbery whatever way you look at it smh.
fights are scored on clean punhcing and in rounds. dirrell landed cleaner punches more often in more rounds. that's a fight won. slips don't lose points and neither does running. it was a shameful way to win but he won and got ripped off.
For anyone who thinks that Froch won this fight and Dirrell was running. ......Well thats even worst than saying pernell ran like a little beeatch and Chavez whupped his ass!!
