Watching it again, Dirrells tactcs look questionable.

We'll have to agree to disagree.....

I suppose it all depends on how you like to score a fight.
I dont factor in venue,we shouldn't have to really.

What you think of Dirrells chances with AA?

For me,its an early points lead for Dirrell but AA getting him in the end. Ironically, thats how people thought Frochs fight would go.

I've downloaded it and I really should try to score it again but I can't summon up the will to sit through the shite a second time.......

  4. It will be simialr to froch fight, i have aa winning by ud. also you are correct about venue shouldnt matter but it does, look at malinaggi vs diaz, valuev vs holyfield, sturm vs gevor. all robberies given to local based fighters. i cant wait for kessler vs froch...

  5. Watch it without commentary for scoring, it helps to stay partial. **** fight tho, nearly as bad as calzaghe vs hopkins. I brought some casuals last night and they were really laying into me about the fight last night. Hope i can get them to come again next time...

    Yeah,it will be decent.

Can see Kessler picking him apart systematically.

I dont question Frochs heart,he'll battle.

The venue does matter,no doubt. This may affect Hayes gameplan for Nov 7th.

The venue doesn't matter when YOU are scoring a fight, it does matter when you are explaining judges decisions.

People shouldn't use the venue to justify THEIR cards, only to explain why some judges may have given close rounds to a home fighter.

I watched the Showtime feed, they had it for Dirrell but wern't screaming "robbery" when Froch got it. I take it Primetime was pretty pro-Froch in the commenary?

The only defence I can see for Froch is that Dirrell turned up thinking he was a better amateur (which he was/is) and boxed like one. Had they exchanged more I still think Dirrell would have won, but still, he's no Floyd, and can't get away with the running all night like Floyd does (sometimes); this is suposed to be a Pro fight.

A terrible match up for Froch, but he ploughs on.

Not really Gaz, got the feeling that the commentators were really fearful for Froch. I thought it was a done deal until Bunce said he scored it for Froch.

I thought Froch looked a little surprised when that last card was announced.

Froch looked, at times, more tired last night than he did in his last two fights. Punching air...
