No, polished means they are fully evolved - they aren't. At least I hope not.

He beat Miranda by roughing him up - a former MW - one with the crudest set of skills.

Think of a huge SMW, that has beaten top rank fighters with stellar performances, world titlists. Fully polished. One that has been in this game(pro) since the age of 19. But you already know this, as a Kessler fan...

But call it as you like - I don't really care. It seems uneducated.

    It really is.

Have you seen more than the pudwill fight dp?

Saying Ward has mediocre defense is laughable.

It's true that Kessler haven't fought at high level since the Calzaghe fight, perhaps that's why he knocked out all of his opponents?:yep Kessler may be a bit rusty at the moment, though.

He has altered his way of fighting slightly under Montoya. He has put emphasis on strength and his devastating uppercut. He seems less cautious, but more brutal. All three fights are won more impressively than Ward has against similar or worse comp. He seems to have lost some speed, but that could be due to ring rust in each of them, and two of the fights were really not very long. Perdomo have never been down before. I imagine that Sartison would give Ward more than a few problems.

Yes, he has stated this. He is getting older, but is still only 30. He has back problems, and says he aches more when training, can't train as hard as he did priorly.

However, he is still stellar, and currently levels above Ward. There is little in his fights that suggests otherwise.

Yes, he usually don't get hit like this. However, the right hook was a beaut. Would definately have felled Ward, but Kessler quickly recovered and didn't lose momentum or a lot(half a sec) and after that continued to land on Sartison. Sartison is a very good prospect that got thrown to the lions too soon.

You got to be kidding me. All Kesslers fights are at higher pace than any of Wards. His 12th rounds are like Wards paciest. Ward has shown he slows down from middle rounds, whereas Kessler does not. Where is your proof?

Its mediocre. He holds his hands wide, and is caught too often - even by a crude **** like Miranda. Think of someone who throws 800-900 punches with excellent precision. Hasn't Ward been down? I am sure he has - and more than once. Miranda doesn't hit with precision, though has okay power, but what does that help, when everything that builds up to a punch is utter ****?

Ward reminds me of a young Bernard Hopkins.

I just picked one. Tell me this guy doesn't have mediocre D. He is wide open most of the time.

Either you don't know two bits about boxing, or else you are just trolling. Anywhich way I will accept your apology after the fight.

Its true that Kessler has a better killer instinct now, but he looks slower in the ring. Against Perdomo Kessler sparred 120 rounds and his trainer wanted him to take 160 rounds of sparring...it seems like his body has a problem with coping much training.I disagree with your opinion about Ward´s defence and I think Ward´s pace is higher than Kessler´s and he definetely hits alot more but its just an opinon....and I respect ur view :good

I think he could be a very special fighter but I have to see him fight champs in the pros to really know. That'll happen soon enough.

Dane, because I know you and your love to for Mikkel...and in the end, you know I respect your opinion even tho we dont agree...I will ignore the fact that this post is so one sided and slanted.

Well, you too will owe me an apology after the fight, but I will claim it elsewhere, mate.

However, it is onesided, because it's filled with facts, and Ward doesn't have any that supports a win. Does he? However, I thought it was pretty diplomatic and objective.

Matters not - I still like you, even if you let ridiculous bias get in the way of judging with a clear head at times.

Ward clinches after every punch thrown or hit with, he puts Ricky hatton to shame with his grabbing(especially in the miranda fight). Decent to good fighter, WAY overrated on this forum, especially with this talk of him beating the fighters participating. Talented, maybe thrown in the lions den to early.
