direll, while tossing a lot of leather, missed the vast majority of his punches, as evidenced by Frochs unmarked face. I am a fan of neither, and could see a decision going to either in their respective hometowns. direll failed to win the fight, plain and simple.

Froch always has an unmarked face, he was unmarked after twelve rounds against Taylor even though he was knocked down in the fight. Go somewhere else with your nonsense.

    Round 1: Dirrel
Both fighters feeling each other out. Jabbing contest. Dirrell did the better jabbing and wins the round.

    Round 2: Draw
Jabbing contest also with some occasional right hand thrown by both fighters. Both land some. Even round.

    Round 3: Dirrel
Dirrel comes out aggressive and lands two good shots. Froch holds, referee breaks them up, Froch hits after the break, Froch gets warned.
Froch starts stalking Dirrel. Dirrel makes Froch miss, looks like to frustrate him. Dirrel lands some occasional crisp straight hands to the body. Froch land one big punch while Dirrel turns away from him that Dirrel did feel. But that’s it.

    Round 4: Dirrel
First entertaining round in the fight. Dirrel keeps frustrating Froch with superior footwork. Dirrel also does land more punches then Froch. Some by being the aggressor and some by counterpunching.

    Round 5: Dirrell
Dirrel makes Froch miss and makes him pay. Froch looks clumsy and frustrated. When they get in the clinch he throws Dirrel to the ground. Froch gets warned by the referee but no point deduction. But hey it is a fight and it only happened once…right.
Dirrell gets back to business, Froch tries to throw Dirrell twice again but gets stopped by the referee. Froch also hits after the break again. The referee gets pissed at this point at Froch. After this Direl keeps running for the last few seconds of the round.

    Round 6: Froch
Froch corners Dirrell and starts swinging with bad intentions. Dirrell slips in panick. After that both fighters go at each other. Froch roughhouses Dirrell holding him in a arm lock twice. Dirrell hits Froch after the break. Froch uses elbows. Dirrell holds. At the end of the fight Dirrell goes on purpose to the canvas to survive.

    Round 7: Froch
Froch tries to make Dirrell fight. Dirrell does to much holding. Froch tries to rough Dirrell up but who cares it is a fight and rough housing is Froch style / boxing is Dirrells style. Dirrell only tries to survive the onslaught in this round but does not get hurt by anything that hurts him big-time.

    Round 8: Froch
Froch stalking and making Dirrell fight again. Some more rough housing by Froch / some more holding of Dirrell. Nothing excessive tough. Dirrell manages to hang in there with Froch now but Froch gets the better of the exchanges in this round.

    Round 9: Froch
Froch makes Dirrell fight although Dirrell also seems to be more now. This round go’s to Froch.

    Round 10: Draw 9-9
Dirrell lands some sharp combinations. Froch holds Dirrell in a armbar. Later on Dirrell does the same and does get warned by the judge. Dirrell start to talk smart-ass back to the referee. Dirrell doesn’t brake later on when the judge tells him so, so the referee has to push Dirrell of Froch. Moments later Dirrell gets penalized by the judge. After that Dirrell starts to bring the fight to Froch and now it is Froch that has to cover up.

    Round 11: Draw
Exchanges go back and forth. Best round of the fight. Close round.

    Round 12. Dirrell
Another close round but Dirrel did do the better boxing and showed the better ring general ship.

    Final score: Dirrell wins 115-113

Altough I can see why it did go the other way now so I will have to apologize to Carl Froch and his fans for all the bad things I have said before.

Better combinations, more accurate, and good movement.

    Froch did nothing notworthy

It's not a flawed argument because my point is it does happen in any country and the way they make it look less obvious is by not having an all domesitc crew (or even all foreign). doesn't really matter the country, it's the money people which set **** up

I know people have different ways of scoring fights, but I really do think that clean punching is the most important criteria.

People say Dirrell was negative or running, but he landed five clean punches for every one Froch landed.

Ultimately shouldn't the person who landed the punches win? Every think else is justification and skirting around that issue. I defy anyone to tell me that Froch landed more, or even better, punches.

They can't. all they can say was that dirrell held some and ran some but convienently leave out that froch swung at air most of the match.

They won't talk about the main criteria and that's landing punches period. Froch didn't land 20 to dirrell's face the whole fight while gettin his head snapped back by dirrell every round. They don't want to talk about punches. They just talk about how they don't like the style and all the superficial stuff but not what really wins fights and that's landing punches.
