Just a random question Who did Ayala beat that you would consider as good a fighter as James "Hard Rock" Green?
Ask all the questions you like. I consider Tony to be better than Green. Green did seem to go a ways in his career before meeting up with the ferocious animal. who knows how his career would have panned out if not for Fletcher. I think you would have seen great things from Green, including more upsets. But the flagship of the Duva stable was undoubtedly Tony himself. Even at that, it's not a case of how good was Green. THis is a case of how well can John absorb blows? And as we seen from green, he can be shook. Tony would do more than just shake. He'd send him to dream land. This fight goes no more than 5 rounds. John would try to stem the furious tide but as we seen in some of his fights, namely the Norris fight, he doesnt seem to do well when hurt. Then again, that was Terry Norris he was fighting. Still, whether it be Norris, or Ayala, it matters not. It's like asking if you want to be shot or hanged-same result
You know that Hard Rock was a very powerful puncher himself and Mugabi took a boatload of punishment from him and didn't go down? He could be shook by a powerful puncher, but then again, most anyone can.
Ask yourself this..... After a post of such size, have you answered the very simple initial question? I repeat.... "Who did Ayala beat that you would consider as good a fighter as James "Hard Rock" Green?"
Whom did George Foreman beat that was considered better than ALi? By your reckoning, Foreman could never beat Frazier based on Foreman's experience. But look at how it turned out. You use the wrong reasoning John, and you do it repeatedly, never learning from your mistakes. boxing isnt just about boxing. You can win in either of two ways; points or by tko, ko. So it's not a matter of IF Tony would reach Mugabi but when. Did Foreman have the experience to reach Frazier? Yes and reaching Joe shattered him to pieces. Tony would reach Mugabi as well and when he does, the fights' over
C.arlos Herrera,Robbie Epps (who beat dwight davison) were Legit contenders. Also steve gregory FOught for a title and went the distance with Kalule. All were Blown out by Ayala
Isn't it notable that in 2 posts and 8 or 9 paragraphs you still haven't answered the question. As a matter of fact, you've got all defensive and theoretical. Lets get real simple and raw. I am going to make this a simple yes or no A or B question. Has Tony ever beaten a fighter as good or better than James "Hard Rock" Green? A. yes B. no
Ill answer that probably no,but Epps and Herrera are right there pretty much the same type of caliber as Green.
A fight with Ayala and Green would have been a sight to see. I think it might have been a question of who caught who first.
I actually forgot about Epps. That is significant as Robbie beat the top middleweight contender on points, a huge upset. Never before had Robbie proven himself at this level and beating the likes of Davison, seemed very unlikely. Against Ayala tho, you're going up against a man that has never lost-period. Experience is not a factor when you possess the kind of guns Tony had and he proved it with a first round ko. Whatever Tony wanted, he got, and in the round he wanted.
and I'm still not answering it considering your poor track record of answering my questions. You would suddenly stop responding after many times trying to baiting me then come back at a later date acting as if nothing happened.
