if he was still holding his belt i can see his confidence being high and either getting decisions over the likes of froch and taylor or coming up slightly short against kessler. The worst match up would be abraham i think because of his power which tends to put mundine on edge

    More Steaming horse **** .

Just look at what you just wrote .

"If he was still holding his belt " You mean the Regular belt he bought off the WBA whilst Calzaghe was their Real Champion ?

Froch is a full street ahead of Mundine here in 09 , Did you see his preformance during the Jean Pascal fight ? FOTY in some peoples eyes , When did Mundine EVER fight to that level ?

Taylor ? Taylor is a shadow of his former self but imo still is a full two levels above anything Mundine claims to be .

Kessler ? Mundine will NEVER fight the Dane again , He had his chance to earlier in the year but point blank refused when when the WBA ordered him to back up his claim to being a World Champ and he RAN down to take Geale's BIO ( Best in Oz ) title off him .

Abraham ..Well i agree not only would AA's power put Mundine on edge it would put him to sleep faster than when he got KTFO by Ottke .

I pretty much addressed all of your (weak) points in the other thread where you hate on mundine, mundine vs geale was a much better and skilled fight than froch's hit and rely on his chin holding up win over pascal although it was a good fight. To be fair if mundine can make middleweight why not give himself the size and weight advantages?

The Froch/Pascal fight was way more entertaining and deserved the FOTY nomination but I agree the skill shown between Mundine and Geale was far superior.

    Froch ain't ****.

I had some hope for Dirrell because he has the talent to make it very far. But he fought very scared for much of the fight. His inexperience at that level probably cost him a lot. And he can be quite sloppy at times. Still I had him beating Froch as did many others.

Froch is a macho type fighter but let's not mistake him for a great fighter. His last few wins are very good but let's remember Taylor was ahead before being stopped and many people had an inexperienced Dirrell beating him even with his "running" tactic.

Oh and in reply to the thread question he would have a good chance against...at least 50/50

    Dirrell
    Froch
    Taylor
    Ward

    Not so good against

    Kessler
    AA

But he would fit in just fine :good

Ash you underestimate Ward my friend. He would totally dominate mandy. I'm not sure the Taylor fight is a pick em either.

    Hmmm interesting notion.

Would depend on a lot of things (location etc)

But I think Choc beats Dirrell and Taylor definitely. Ward and Froch I think he would also fancy his chances.
Abraham and Kessler look to be the big guns of the field and on any given night I can see him pulling off an upset but he would be pushing the barrel up the proverbial hill.

He would certainly have to come out of his shell, and let those fists fly. Which would mean arguably that he would open himself up for the counter. But Chocs defence is much underated I believe, he slips more punches and rolls with more punches than he used too, and opponents have a difficult time landing big shots and combinations on him.

I'm going with Ward to win this thing. He's a roughy but I think he is up to it.

I really like him to upset Kessler first up.
