Dirrell might have similar talent, but he isn't a fraction of the fighter Joe was. Yet.

And I'm no Calzaghe fan, trust me.

    Calzaghe would outclass him easily.

Dirrell was in against sluggish power puncher(one trick pony).
Calzaghe was versatile(see kessler fight) and throws a hell of a lot more punches.

If the dirrell that turned up last night fought calzaghe he would lose alone on lack of work rate.

Dirrell has had 1 fight at the top level. He was on the wrong end of a SD in this. Give the man time to grow as a fighter before jumping all over him.

Perhaps Dirrell was talking about facing Calzaghe, head-to-head, on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.

Dirrell would beat Calzaghe in a backwards sprint, that's for sure.

I don't think he would beat Calzaghe even right now if Joe came back and fought him.

Nope. The majority, or at least the ones who know what they are talking about, are debating it as a bad or close decision. :good

With Dirrell's performance against Froch, I wouldn't call out anyone after that...especially someone as good as Calzaghe...he sounds like an idiot!!
