Kessler is known in the UK and Froch is a popular fighter in Nottingham if nowhere else so there's a chance they could hold it at the City Ground.

However, IMO, Carl has little chance against Kessler who won't be able to miss with his perfect 1-2's.

Kessler deserves to fight at home after facing Ward in the states. Hennessy should spend his time securing a TV deal for the fight and not leave it to the last minute like he did with Froch/Taylor & Dirrelll.

Froch-Kessler won't do 30,000 in the UK esp. as Fat Mick will probably have the fight on at 3am for the extra Showtime cash.

Isn't the second round of the Super Six supposed to be March or April time?

Which pretty much rules out the City Ground or any outside venue. I think the only UK venue that could accomodate 30,000 inside would be the Millennium Stadium, unless I'm missing somewhere....

30000 is a lot of tickets to sell though.....

They did over 8000 for the Dirrell fight, even taking into account the public being familiar with Kessler, it's a huge leap.

How many Danes were in Cardiff, anybody know?

If the same number came again it would boost the numbers, there were a few Dirrell fans but not that many.

I agree with that. But saying that, if he fought at the City Ground, that place could be sold out and would be brilliant. Great atmosphere 30,000 Froch fans and the 2 who made it over from Denmark, would be brilliant!

I would love for the fight to be in the UK but i doubt it will be.

Also i cant see the fight selling 30,000 tickets, but i think if promoted right and at the right venue (if in the UK) this fight could be a huge event.

As for Froch beating Kessler i think Froch is in for a rude awakening.

    Kessler in 8

Is it sensible to even consider this as a possibility?

I know it sounds a little steep, but I'm sure Setanta reported 4,000 Danes in attendance. That said, Kessler is big business in Denmark and I'm pretty sure the fight will end up there.
