I hope he comes in at 245-248 or so. He just needs motivation. The problem is at 41 that is hard to find.
So what do you fellas reckon if he comes in to the fight at between these weights, would it mean that the motivation is really back? Surely time out of the ring and thinking of what could of been should be good motivation. Of course he would also need to win convincingly to get a few people thinking. And then if this criteria was accomplished where should he go from there? There are so many options but not sure how he will do that in germany? He wants the Klitchkos but how on earth would he get to that? Still i cant wait to find out!
He should take on Brewster now. I thought it would be too dangerous for Botha before, but after seeing that Brewster lost to a relative no-name, I would say that this is a perfect opportunity for Botha to take a fight with Brewster and capitalize off a points win over him.
I think brewster is a good choice. But then an interesting big gamble could be tua? If he points or outworks him its nearly a straight ticket to title shot. Mind you he needs to dispatch Fischer impressively first. He nearly got a knock out last time against hoffman, this time i think it will be! Go Botha
How about Botha versus Golota for the over 40 title? With the Golota freaks posting to this thread it could add a lot of pages.
Maybe, I like Golota and wish him all the best but i think he has his work cut out against Adamek. I do think it would be a cracking fight if they both got through there respective fights and did get the fight on. To a certain degree i think most who post and support the Botha train will also like and support Golota train!
I think Adamek is going to blow out Golota. Too much speed for Golota to handle. Golota vs. Botha would be a bit more competitive. Both are at about the same stages in their career.
I think you might be right. But you never know as the old saying goes Golota definately has a "punchers chance". I think myself he might just catch Adamek with a big blow and it could mean lights out. As for the "oldies" fighting IF Golota loses i wouldnt mind Francois having an easy win because Golota would deffinately be washed up then!
Botha no longer facing Willi Fischer (Bicep injury). He is now fighting Pedro Carrion. A relatively new heavyweight to the proffesional world, but seems to have some good pedigree on the amataur scene. Even beating the likes of Jason Estrada. Botha really should wipe the floor with this bloke who has a record of 9/1 (6ko's) in my opinion. At least he has a tune up fight and they didnt cancel it totally. With the shape he was in last time this could work out well for him, keep him busy while getting in tip top shape. Go Botha!
