do you call the way he beat ruiz easy ?
because i think norris was p4p better than ruiz for sure , and h2h i don't know but it is close for sure.

Yes I do call that easy, and Norris wouldnt fight like Ruiz who is very awkward and hurky jerky and hard to hit cleanly (at that time). Norris would box more, was not a big puncher, was short, and would never have a chance to outbox Jones.
P4P Ruiz has accomplishe ten times more than Norris at heavy by the way.

Jones has an easy night. Terry may have had a better chance.

U guys are underestimating Norris...as a heavyweight I think he would definitely have beaten Ruiz by points.... against Roy..i think he would have lost by points but i think that Orlin would defintely put some hurt on Roy at some point of the fight if Roy ever stopped in his tracks or layed on the ropes....

Arguably the most bizarre "what if", I've ever seen. I love it. That's why boxing forums can be fun because someone thought about this hypothetical matchup.

    I pick Jones easy.
I think he handles any of the smaller heavies including Frazier.

This wouldn't be Orlin Norris, the cruiserweight, carrying a couple extra pounds to test his mettle at heavyweight. This would be Orlin Norris the cruiserweight against a beefed up middle/light heavyweight Roy Jones, at heavyweight.

Norris is a different type of fighter than Ruiz. Ruiz clearly got Jones' attention when he landed a normal right hand in the first round, yet he decide to get less aggressive. Norris is faster than Ruiz, and tries to get to his opponent to land punches; as opposed to just standing around. Norris was not a mini Mike Tyson, or even a Bert Cooper for than matter; but he was far more aggressive than John Ruiz. Norris would have looked for chances to take the fight to Jones.

Jones is a greater fighter than Norris will ever dream of being. I just think that Orlin takes the fight to Jones enough to catch him.

    Norris ko 7.

Saying that Jones handles Frazier is ridiculous.

Frazier is tiny! seriously, he was relentless, but the jones that fought ruiz was only about 10-15 lbs less than Frazier and infinitely faster. jones wouldn't sit there and take a beating like Ali (although the Jones post Ruiz sure would). jones wouldn't give him a boxing lesson by any means, but he would do enough pot shottting and eventually catch frazier and he lept in with a hook.

Its no foregone conclusion Frazier would handle Jones either. While I feel the fight might be a little more competitive than Temiken thinks, Jones Jr would be a live dog. Some of you guys are underestimating his speed. Besides, Jones would know what would be coming consistently. His speed of foot would keep him out of harms way of the lefthook.
