Froch vs Dirrell controversy thread

no, that's fair enough. If you feel that way I don't blame you.

BUT you need to rewatch it again. Maybe with the commentary off. I watched it with Al bernstein and whoever else and they were massively over hyping anything Dirrell did.

 

What did you embarass yourself over on your previous alias in order to need a new one?

 

I've been saying this since Saturday.. still haven't got an answer back..

 

usually people can make an arguement for robberies but dirrell ran too much is not a solid arguement. The fight went Dirrell's way. He control it. There was no wars like froch wanted. It was Dirrell's fight the whole time. It should have been a UD and when i heard SD. i knew he was going to get f**ked. And then allows for his supporters to claim is a close fight. Bs. Froch didn't do a damn thing.

 

My reaction has got **** all to do with Froch or Dirrell, or who won, I actually don't give a ****...its got everything to do with the childish, hysterical reaction from GROWN MEN that this result has caused....its ****ing hilarious

But dirrell did **** all too. Hence why a lot of people have it close, neither fighter did much.
Both stunned each other.. Dirrell was stunned in the 2nd and i think in the 5th.
Froch was stunned in the 10th.

Dirrell didnt really start trying to win until the 10th when he had froch backed up.
This is why people like myself think it was close.Could have gone either way!

 

I watched plenty of fights to know how to judge a fight. And is not a hard one to see one fighter landing almost at will. Froch spend most of his time with his hands down and he got slow hands as if he got mayweather like reflexes and can block before he gets hit. The story of the fight. I can watch it again and be more pissed off again. My friends were rooting for froch and they knew froch stole it.

It seems more British columnists favor Dirrell over Froch.

 

Both took their time the first 5 rounds but it was dirrell snipping jabs every 10 secs and froch goes desperate the last 20 secs colliading bodies together to try to get something. Then froch picks it up more in the middle rounds getting desperate early and looks very aggressive. Dirrell did most avoiding and pot shots so u can swing those rounds and Dirrell took the late rounds without easy. I am fully aware of what happened. That was the fight that was most appealing to me. There was about 8 close rounds where dirrell got the clear better end of it if u judge accordingly and 2 of the 8 i give Froch. I could only give 2 to froch.

That is were we differ...the middle rounds(too much inactivity) froch pressed the fight and looked more aggressive. Dirrell was on his bike for most of his pot shottin, which will not win you rounds!
To be frank id say most of the middle rounds were even..nobody was doing anything. That includes the odd jab or clinch.
The fight sucked, Froch won. The End
None of your constant complaing will change anything.. move onto another fighter or topic because its history!

 

I haven't mentioned it, along with lots of other ppl in here, but NOWWWWW that u mention it, u may be right!! he WASSS running most of the time............................

It does not matter either way, we can debate this all day, the whole week, or even forever and THE RESULT WILL ALWAYS BE THE SAME- A WIN 4 THE CORRECT GUY , THE GUY THAT CAME TO WORK, THE ONE WHO WANTED IT MORE!! :happy BTW, I'm not a Froch fan but the guy deserved to win more than Dirrell!! Going by what i have seen I guess the europeans will have to win by devastating KO from now on in order to get the "approval" from americans.

 

c'mon...everyone can make a case for either man in that fight...no one did enough to win that fight in my opinion. That was a hard fight to watch and was even harder to score. I just hope both men learn something from their questionable performances.

 

mate ive tried to reason with the dirrell nuthuggers but you will never win.
Im not even a froch fan but i cant stand all this constant moaning over a close but **** fight!
