Comparing both fights, the Taylor vs Abraham fight was better than the Dirrell vs Froch ... but it didn't lack hometown cooking ... it isn't like it would've matter'd in the case of Abraham vs Taylor, but Froch vs Dirrell was a total frace ... and it was a shame that Europe has to display a lack of confidence in their fighters - they have to corrupt the integrity of the game and make their whole nation look bad on the biggest stage in boxing. Thats why fighters rarely go overseas to fight for titles because of the bull**** hometown cooking ... the atmosphere is great but it doesn't make sense why there can't be a fight without some controvesay. Its not like that in the states ... the scores were close so there wasn't a favor of styles in that case, the scores were just backwards.
Dirrell was at a disadvantage he dont suck dick and Carl Froch does and thats how he bought ref and judge's carl loves that Dick.... oh how do you say that oh ya cheers Carl keep on Sucking That dick, cheers...
Kenny Bayless is gonna have to start raking up those air miles cause we truly need his ass for all the big fights !!
I honestly scored the fight 7 rounds to 4 with an even round for the deduction. I had a hard time awarding the close rounds to Dirrell due to the fact that Froch was consistently pressing the action. This is what bugs me about letting an ugly fight go the distance. When there are a lot of close rounds in the bank, there is a lot of room for interpretation. I've always been partial to the fighters who look to press the action. I can understand how it could have gone the other way.
I dont understand some of these Euros ... who don't know anything about "boxing" ... not talking about the sport but the true meaning of what it is to "box" ... its a damn shame ... I also think that Froch knew that he didn't win but showed some relief when he realized he was at home. What a ***** move by Jean Pascal too ...
It was simply unnecessary to take a point away from Andre! But IT WAS necessary to take 1, 2 or 3 points away from Froch and he didn't.
I for one found the fights VERY good. Abraham showed great skill. The Direll Froch fight was great, because (I at least) kept hoping that Direll would get things done, and Froch would not succeed in getting to him. Dirty as hell, but sure had my heart pumping. I am very pleased with the tournement so far, maybe besides of the decision. A draw would probably have been the best.
What a load of shite.Britain is the best place in the world to get a fair result. You keep hyping these yanks up and they keep getting beaten off Brits. The fact is Dirrell did not deserve to win the fight with his chicken**** runaway tactics. We Brits know Froch has his limitations but if you want to know how your 2 fighters(Dirrell and taylor) have faired against the Cobra, check his Boxrec stats and it says 0 where the loss column is.Now stop crying.
No...I'm saying that holding is against the rules as well...so is turning your back on an opponent...so is ducking below the waist. My point is: Which set of rules do you want fighters to adhere to? I've noticed a huge double standard for rule enforcement for years. Especially when B-hop fights in America.
