Look you obvious believe that dirrell won. Many others don't. This wasn't a ****ing robbery. Get over it. Yes the home town/champion is going to get the benefit of the doubt. Yes the aggressor in a given fight is going to get the benefit of the doubt. Hit or miss, it is generally better to throw punches. Clear effect punches doesn't mean landing 4 punches a round. I'd actual say that the Taylor score card was worse. I had him winning until the last round because Abraham taking the first 2 minutes off of 3/4 of the rounds of the fight. Judges are fans as well as judges.

There are so many effective counter punchers in the world of boxing, why would anyone want to watch another Dirrell fight? The guy, at least in this fight, was a straight up chump. His style bordered on running. Boxing is defined as a competition of fists. Not feet.

It is ok to have your view but there are too many generalisations. Do you think there has never been a European who the majority felt won a fight in America, only for the American to receive the decision? There are a lot of examples. It is not country or continent specific.

I felt Dirrell won too but I can see how Froch got the decision. Dirrell was terribly negative for much of the fight. Some judges are influenced by that and have been historically.

    It was very close.

I was unsure at the end who had it. The only thing I could say was that if that fight happened in the US, Dirrell would have won.

I think Froch was lucky he was on home turf but I wouldnt argue with a split decision for either of them.

Bearing in mind Froch had the home advantage and was the belt holder, Dirrell and his team were slightly naive to think the apparent plan of running would get a win though!

also i gave froch a lot of the close rounds

like i said in hindsight i can see where the judges came from!

    This is ludicrous.

All of the boxing industry people that I have spoken to in the last couple of days are staggered by the stuff that is being written online, mainly by a small vocal American minority who are claiming that this was a robbery on the scale of Lewis Holyfield 1.

It really wasn't. It was a very close fight. Dirrell knew that (watch him awaiting the scores) and even his promoter acknowledged that he lost by two rounds.

    It's ridiculous.
