Jermain's in it for the money, he's not going to drop out yet. In the 360 series Dibella mentioned he was instructed to go out and get his man the most money, that's why Jermain has all his fights on the road. I could see the young guys -Dirrell and Ward dropping out from a bad loss before Taylor.

I think if he stuck to 8-10 round gatekeeper role, he could last another 3-4 years. I think he could face guys like Duddy, Miranda (would be one good fight), or Billy Lyell.
If he wants to keep fightin A level guys then he will be in a chair.

I don't see JT doing that, but he might not be thinking clear anymore. I think he was in survival mode all fight. Almost worked for him in one respect.

As long as he stays away from White fighters he's cool. For some reason he just can't seem to beat caucasian fighters.

he has Ward next who is feather fisted. I would take that fight and IF he gets brutally KOed again in that fight I would retire.

I think it is too early to pull the plug.

He might do better against Ward since he's black.

With Ward he won't have to worry too much about being knocked out and can concentrate on his own boxing. He should take 6 months off and then fight Ward. I think he'd win easily.
