didnt the Pastry simply fold up his tents and go survival mode vs Slappy?
didnt look like he was trying anything that night but try and survive 12.
He should shut the **** up and worry about his next fight which isnt a gimmie.

And what have I been saying Taylor needed to do? "Step over and throw the right." Looks like Kessler agrees with me, and I'll take Mikkel's opinion over the opinions of the many ****-wits on ESB who flamed me for saying that!!

Who won the 12th round of Kessler vs Calzaghe? Kessler fought well vs Calzaghe. But what does the way he fought Calzaghe have anything to do with his comments about Taylor vs Abraham? Whats wrong of giving an opinion of what a fighter should do? Did he talk smack about Taylor? Did he disrespect Taylor? Hell No. Damn you going way overboard.

once JT felt AA's power, tossing the right was way too risky. Mr K will find that out, in time.

Taylor fired all kinds of power shots at and around Winky's high guard in their fight. He didn't with AA because the return fire was just a tiny bit more fierce than Winky's was.

Man that **** was obvious. AA was WIDE open for a right hand all night long, but JT is so far gone mentally he wasn't even aware the opportunity was there. Go over to the sweet science and read thier article. It's very good.

Yea you have. Don't say you have. Mostly everybody that is a boxing fan that don't box or have box give out their opinions. Kessler has a right for his opinion. He didn't disrespect Taylor at all. And he was right cause thats how i thought Taylor should have done more beside mostly sticking his jab.

I absolutely agree and was screaming this at the TV. JT's jabs just bounced off gloves all night, but IMO esp. Taylor's lead right was gettin some business done. I couldn't understand unless JT had it burnt into his brain before the fight to jab-jab-jab until the cows come home.

 I didn't scream cause Taylor wouldn't hear me lol. But i said to my head that Taylor need to do more then just jab, jab, jab, jab. Yes Jab is great to do to keep an opponent from the distance but atleast do something more then that.

    The fact that JT's fast and accurate right hand was almost completely absent from the fight is one of the things that had me thinking JT is done. That was clear by the 3rd round. And there was more missing than the right hand. Did JT throw;

    Blisterring left hooks? Nope.

    STIFF and quick jab? Nope.

    Blazing combo punching? Nope.

    Great counter punching? Nope.

Jermain appears to have lost about 70% of his arsenal.

Kessler gives an honest, pretty low-key opinion on a fight, goes out of his way to point out that following the advice was easier said than done and maybe there were other legimate reasons why Taylor was unable to execute and yet people still manage to get their tutus in a bunch about it!!

The straight right's looked good but weren't getting through the guard either. Looping right hands would have gotten more done, but it's possible that once he felt AA's power he was afraid to take that chance. Throwing that loopy right hand around the the gloves leaves you more open to left hook counters than a straight right, both because of the added distance the punch has to travel, making it slower, the fact that it takes a wider path away from the body, and the possibility of getting the hand caught a bit on the opponents glove when trying to pull back.

AA was looking for left hook counters in the early goings. Maybe Jermain just didn't feel confident enough trying it without a sure opening.

Fact is it might have helped or he might have gotten KTFO even sooner. No way of knowing.
