Nope. He's outside my top 20 and the cut off at HW comes a dose before that watermark. I'd say no more than 14 HW's are genuinely great fighters.

He has fought one decent opponent and he lost. No way is he an ATG. Vitali is just the best of a dead division.

In terms of statistics and actual achievements, he's pretty low down the list of heavy champs IMO. Hasn't done much more than Ruiz on paper. Probably less to be honest in terms of competition fought.

In terms of head to head? He'd be miles further up the list.

for those people who said NO - what does he have to do to get on the top 100 HW of all time? Can you even name 99 guys to put in front of him?

    No, no you can't.

Based on skills and ability, Absolutely. Outside of his loss to Lewis, he should be undefeated. And he was winning the fight against Lewis before the cut halted the bout. Combine this with his division-leading KO% and his size/power and recent showcase of skills at the excellerated age of 38. Yes. Definitely one of the best Heavys in recent history. With all this talk about how terrible the division is, I thank the stars for a fighter like Vitali Klitschko. I think most of us 'fans' should as well. ; )

p.s. I think it's a damn shame that Lewis didn't come back to give him his rematch as we'll always continue to hear how he lost to the one 'great' fighter he fought, which is of course, bull****. He wasn't losing and was giving Lewis hell in there.

The ONLY way to beat Vitali Klitschko is by injury. There is no other way. He has never been outboxed or KOed. This has been proven.

Obviously we're not going to categorize a heavyweight like Vitali with bantamweights.

On another note, I appreciate Abraham's boxing ability but when I see that dildo on his head (in your avatar) it makes me wonder.
