He really thinks he has the tools to beat Kessler ..After what I saw in the Dirrell fight Froch better work on his defense before he even thinks he can stand and trade with the Viking Warrior ..If Dirrell could rock him Kessler knocks his head off his shoulders .

This will be Mosley/Margarito all over again, but more brutal.

Froch's ability to delude himself may be one of his best traits as a boxer.

Simple. Froch is not right in the head. He is far from it.

His grip on reality isn't even tenuous. It's non existent.

Listening to him dribble **** used to be funny. Now it's kinda sad and creepy.

It's like... you ever see someone have a few drinks. They start to say ****, some of it is kinda outrageous so you start laughing. But then they keep drinking. Then before you know it they have tears streaming down their faces and they are talking all sorts of crazy **** about killing people and being the next Messiah. Like Jesus would be standing in a pile of his own ****.
At which point you regret ever knowing them.

That right there is Froch. **** knows how anyone could bring themselves to call themselves a fan of his. Kinda like how weird it is to realise that David Haye has fans. I'm pretty sure that there is a big overlap between the two groups. And not one single ****ing one of them has a solid grip on reality.

He has a good jab when he decides to use it properly, not just flicking it out sporadically.

He'll have to use it and be more disciplined if he's going to get near Kessler.

Yep he thinks he's so though and believes he's got a chance even when he's never been that good to begin with. There's actually a reason he called out Calzaghe and talked all that trash - he believes it blindly. Just hope for him that the Kessler Abraham fights will teach him something.

I think Froch will put in a good perfromance (even if he loses) against Kessler, at least hes fighting someone who likes to fight, not somebody who should be on an athletics track. It will suit both Kess and Carl, war.

Dirrell was a bad style matchup for him. He will look better in this fight but get KO'd in the 8th or 9th

Funny that the two guys you mentioned are both fighters who fear no one and chase after the biggest fights in order to test themselves and entertain.

And you say THEIR fans are the deluded one's? My friend, you are no boxing fan, sounds like you're the type of fan who likes to see guys ***** out of the big fights and tell the whole world they will lose their next fight.

    Good on you.

He's gotta believe it...otherwise he will have lost the fight before the ding of the 1st bell. This is boxing and anything can happen. I don't think the chances of him upsetting Kessler is great but there is a chance. He's a determined guy and a strong fighter. Yes...limited but so was Rocky Marciano. IF a guy has the heart of a champion he can give anyone trouble.

He obviously has to believe he can beat Kessler, and i think deep down when he is either on his own or with his team he knows he is in deep water and he need to totally up his game from both the Taylor and Dirrell fights.
