Abraham is deceptive, so it's always difficult for anyone.

Work him over early then keep moving late.

However his guard is positioned there is a way around it. Coupled with his poor stance/balance it means there is always something that can land. You just need the right shot selection.

And not a single opponent has had that selection?

Achilles, I think you're being a little unfair on the guy here.

Personally, I thought AA looked quality the other night.

Patient, callous and good shot selection when he let go. Done enough to win rounds and almost every shot he threw looked like it had KO power.

The one weakness I'd say is he may be a little slow on his feet (fast hands though). I think a dancer might cause him problems in the way Dawson caused Glen Johnson problems. Fight would be in the balance and if the said dancer is caught it's lights out. But if someone is smart enough and fit enough to keep him mid-far range then I think that's the way to do it.

I havent seen Ward yet, but I believe this is how he fights? I think Dirrell could cause him problems but his movement slowed against Froch (not by much but enough to get caught by AA).

Kessler is still the man to beat though in my opinion.

Before I post elements I think are requied to beath AA I would like to point out the challenges I see need to be overcome
1> AA has a great defense
    2> AA has great power
3> AA has a great jab
4> AA is willing to lose early rounds in order to have his opponent expend energy
5> AA has a good chin
    6> AA has good stamina
    ----------------------------
    Some possible area's of exploitation
AA> has to make up for lost points usually losing first 3 rounds of his fights
    AA> is short for a 168 boxer
AA> AA can't alway see 100% with his defense in the way
    ---------------------------------------------------
So allready you can see it is a difficult challenge for any 168 challanger.
The challenger will need to have a good chin, and graet stamina to survive let alone win. But what is most important to me for anyone to beat this guy is that they have to be very smart and intelligent.
I would say first of all, you have to be patient and not expend to much energy but try to do just enough in the first 3 rounds to rack up some points. By this stage I think you need to be able to randomly change your own style. So the challenger will need to be slightly more aggressive initially with minimal excess. Then hold of if they think they are up on the cards. In rounds 4 onwards need to be prepared for body shots which AA wil throw. I think counter punching is the only way forward and with speed too. I think Ward and Kessler may have this ability but not Froch. Froch will have a chance against AA because of his own power but that is pretty muich his only chance. Dirrell will not be able to show enough agression in the first 3 rounds because AA will be content to stand and guard. Taylor allready out of the equation. If Taylor had been capable of running after ruond 3 like the way Dirrell had it may have been a clue as to what I am getting at. All in all I think this debate is enough to suggest just why AA is favoured in this tournament. I think Kessler will be a great challenge to AA though and Kessler has the power, the speed, the reach, and the chin and stamina. So I'd say that will be a 50/50 but for the other AA would have to be the favourite.

Let's see the effect a Froch upper cut or body shot has on AA first.

Froch's chin is pretty good, his stamina is excellent and he has great heart. I'm not writing him off yet and I'm looking forward to seeing him fight Kessler and AA.

Froch has massive reach whilst AA is only 5'8'', so the plan would be to keep on the outside and jab, cross, move.

I can see Froch stopping AA after handing out a serious beating. Whilst Andre Ruiz-Bolt was a stylistic nightmare for Froch, AA is tailor made for him.

AA is 5'10" but I dont think it changes your point.

For me though, I see it the other way round. Froch is made for AA. Open guard, willing to trade, slow feet.

    AA late KO.
