i said he beat 2 american fighters because that is what he did.

i scored it for direll but my score doesn't mean ****.

i'm not sure its gonna be possible for anybody to look good fighting direll with his style.

i just think froch deserves a little bit of credit for taking on fighters who are all wrong for him and still winning.

i think theres a chance that froch could really shine against kessler and abraham and that peoples opinions will change of him yet again. styles make fights.

Styles make fights, and Froch's style is BAD. Kessler would stop him fairly easily, and he'd walk into one against Abraham pretty easily and get flattened. His chin is good, but far from unassailable. If anything, his last few match-ups have suited him massively - boxers who like a slow pace that he can put pressure on and overwhelm.

Froch is an exciting low B-level boxer who's had a lucky run. End of.

Wlad, Hopkins, Mayweather: those are examples of being elusive while fighting.

Dirrell was just an example of running from fighting.

Even though he lost me as a fan, I'll always respect his bravery. He doesn't shy away from challenges

neither have "great" boxing skills especially Dirrell he's got by on his raw talent, his speed and reflexes

but i do agree, i give him alot of credit for his past 2 victories (even if he didn't much deserve the last 1) his last 3 fights were all respectable opponents, the best fighting the best to prove who's the best, thats what boxings all about and that is why i like and respect Froch

Calzaghe also didnt land many clean punches on Hopkins, Hopkins landed the better punches but Calzaghe beat him in other aspects as Froch did with Dirrell.

Froch did it to the best of his abillities. Dirells style frustrated him. But it seemed Direll had too much respect for Frochs power. Dirrell did very well from round 9-11 (fast combos etc) but for the rest of the fight he was running around the ring. Its not only the punches that counts when a ref is voting. He has to consider how a figter fights too. All im saying is that Direll was very defensive for the most part. Personel I think it should have been a draw.

So how do you explain Wlad performance vs Samuel Peter then since you want to single out Dirrell?

What about Lennox lewis, Joe Calzaghe, Eubank modern day fighters from UK who has been internationally recognized more or less. No one can have the whole world as a fan, but british fighters can get respect when just as other non-american fighters can...
