Well IMO right now they are p4p the hardest punchers in boxing today. What do you think who is p4p harder puncher??
Abraham is 168 and KOs people with ONE punch. Haye is 225 and needs 5 knockdowns and exhausted opponents.
Abraham. Haye certain hits ****ing hard but his power is a little over-rated imo. And that's coming from a Haye fan. Haye's speed is what allows him such devastating results; he carried great power but he lets it land accurately and on opponents who arent braced and expecting the shot. Watch his fight against Maccarinelli and watch the straight right counter he uses in round 2 before he opens up more. The speed is what really makes him dangerous.
What qualifies Haye to be this monstrous puncher? He's pretty untested as yet. Mac was taken out by Leedev, for Christ's sake, and Barrett got cleaned out in 2 by Solis. Apart from that, he's not KO'd anyone meaningful. AA's record isn't stellar either, but at least his KO's are convincing.
Thanks for bringing that up b/c If it took Haye all those rounds to KO barrett than Solis must have the hardest punch on the planet lol. To me Haye is overhyped garbage that talks way too much trash. Haye prob can't even beat Valuev:rofl
I say abraham because he put top competiton to sleep, but haye cleaned the cruiserweight divison in devastating fashion. they both hit hard as hell at their natural weights. lets see if haye can carry his power on to the HW division, i think he can.
Granted Haye's level of competition doesnt speak volumes, but he does have a huge KO percentage, and you can see from what his punches do to his opponents that he does carry a very formidable amount of power. What I mean is, he does seem to carry genuine concussive power in boths hands, which is exemplified by his speed (which, though very good, is also a little over-rated).
