Did the Americans cry so loud and long when Calzaghe got SD over Hopkins?

Dirrel won a lot more clearly against Froch, than Calzaghe did against Hopkins.

I thought they were similar in many ways. 1 fighter trying to fight, 1 fighter using dirty tactics to spoil. Hopkins arguably landed the cleaner more effective punches and also Hopkins knocked Calzaghe down which had to go in his favour. The main difference in my opinion is that Calzaghe vs Hopkins was in America so it makes it harder for them to claim "robbery". Anyway, you didn't answer the question I asked pal.......

Calzaghe-Hopkins was a very different fight. Arguments can be made for either side but the GENERAL CONSENSUS IS THAT CALZAGHE WON where here, most people think DIRRELL WON.

Hopkins won the fight though it was no robbery he did not get the judges decision.

One fighter? Did you not see Froch wrestling, throwing, rabbit punching and hitting on the break?

I agree, there are some similarities between the two fights. But as I said, Froch clearly lost, whereas Calzaghe probably deserved the win.

I remember there been a lot of moaning but not as much as this, they just can't let it go.

To be honest though, I don't think the Brits were winding them up as much. It's just to easy, they can't spot when some one is taking the **** or not.

Ok 2 fighters using dirty tactics :yep but Froch wasn't trying to spoil.

A lot of people don't think Froch "Clearly lost" neither do they think Dirrell clearly won but fair enough. :good

Nah it's cool, don't take it personally; we said the same thing to Darni with his constant Khan threads. There was a lot of debate about the Hopkins fight but not so much crying per se. As others have said though, the general consensus was that Calzaghe won. For the record, I scored for Hopkins.

The poll shows the majority of people think Froch lost. And when you consider most of those people are British, and perhaps Froch fans, I think that just goes to show.

Also, I've seen the fight twice now, and in my opinion Dirrell clearly won. Froch took 4 rounds at most. It wasn't particularly close, and I certainly think it was a robbery.

But whatever, everyone is entitled to their opinions. My point is...I think people are pretending Froch won....because they really like Froch...I really can't see how that would be someones objective opinion.

I feel the same way about Casamayor-Santa Cruz. Casa just edged it. Honest.

That was probably the night you were distracted by arguing with Flint and got sidetracked with the scoring!
