Yeah you're right. I guess they considered Dirrell not getting the decsion not enough to be there but then why Ward? Questionable.
That is the latest ring ratings - updated as of October 18th. Here is their justification for Dirrell not being in the list: Makes perfect sense: If they didn't have him ranked in their top 10 before this weekend you can't expect them to move him up however many places to make an appearance when he just lost - no matter how close/controversial a decision it was.
damn , what is wrong with you all ? what did kessler do to deserve #1 spot ? lost to calzaghe ? beat nobodies ? refrain from meeting Mads Larsen and preferring to meet the man he beat in Danilo Haussler ?
You put Froch on no 1. Something is clearly wrong with you not the rest of us. Kessler beat Andrade,Beyer,Mundine,Lucas,Siaca-all top 10 at the time and a spirited L with Calzaghe and is H2H the best.
Which Top 10 supermiddleweight did Allan Green beat? (Make that Top 20 then). His best opponent was Miranda, and he lost that one. They had Taylor in the top 10 having beaten Lacy, but as far as I remember, Lacy was not at that time in their Top 10. Which Top 10 smw did Bika beat? If Bika is there because he did well in losing against proven world class fighters, there is a case for Dirrell to be included. If you have to beat someone in the Ring Top 10 to get on the list, why is Ward there? He was ranked on potential, not results. So was Allan Green - ranked on potential, not results. If Froch was exposed the other night by a prospect who still doesn't belong in the top 10, why did Froch not go down a few places? No, it doesn't make sense. No surprise, though. The Ring ratings rarely make sense.
Your ignorance is not a valid point to support your crazy ranking. You can find the answers to your questions if you inform yourself properly.
You make valid points. Many valid points. Green in the top ten being enough to say The Ring ratings don't make sense.
The most stupid thing about your top 10 is that you have Green at #3 (above Kessler) and then you say Kessler has beaten nobodies? He may have lost to Calzaghe, but Green was OUTPOINTED by Miranda and his best win was against hum.... let's see.... hum...
