    This is an interesting point.

Think anyone in the judging community is volunteering for Dirrell's next fight? What a nightmare gig that's going to be.

I suspect that often a judges opinion of who is winning the fight overall can seriously affect his decisions on scoring. And so I found that on many occasions the last rounds are not simply judged based on who did the better work in the round. Its just a thoery that I have when it comes to scorring. I wouldn't think it was much of a stretch that the Italian judge just said to himself if the rounds are close i'm giving it to Froch because I don't like the way this guy has been fighting.

I know here come the cry babies thats not how the sport is supposed to be judged. Our guy go robbed. Yes I know I agree. But the dude needs to fight like a man before I'll care.

Does anyone not think these scorecards are totally ****ed up? Froch didn't sweep the mid rounds, and he didn't win 11 or 12. Seeing this, who still thinks it wasnt a fix? I wanna see a picture of the morons face who doesn't think Dirrell got jobbed...Seriously. If you think this doesn't indicate foul play, send me a picture of your ****ed up face!

If it wasn't for the bull**** point deduction Direll would have gotten the decision. I still scored it for Direll though, it's close.

The Mexico judge is clueless. He gave the last 4 rounds to Dirrell. There is no way that actually happened. 3:1 in favor of Dirrell is acceptable even though a bit excessive but 4:0 is completely baseless.

Those scorecards are bull****. Those judges are bull****. Danny van der Wiele is a good third man in the ring but he scores terrible.

The most important thing in scoring are POWER PUNCHES and CLEAN PUNCHES and Dirrell outlanded Froch 2:1 or even 3:1!!! They musted gave those rounds to Froch based on INEFFECTIVE agression

The last four rounds were when Dirrell started opening up. He still outlanded Froch easily in the early rounds when Froch was fallowing Dirrell around hitting air. I have to see the fight again but watching at first I just didn't see Froch land **** let alone anything meaningful.

Edit: I even watched a the broadcast with Pro Froch Britian dudes. They had Dirrell winning clearly.

Dirrell lost the fight by not taking the belt from the champion. He has to make it CLEAR that he won, and even then I doubt the outcome would've been different.

Even the posters on this site cant agree on the scoring of the fight. Dirrell could have put this fight beyond any doubt but he didnt. Froch is still a belt holder. I dont blame the ref or judges. I blame Dirrell. Even his corner knew he needed to do more and the last couple of rounds just show what a fight it could have been.

One would hope that three PROFESSIONAL judges sitting ringside could at least score the fight RELATIVELY close to one another in the sense that they tend to give the same fighters the same rounds. When two judges with identical scores turned in scorecards that differ by 2/3rds that is a bit ridiculous.

But hey, lesson learned for Dirrell, hopefully if he and Froch ever re-match he'll just knock the chump out and be done with it.

You take the belt winning rounds or KO a guy! The whole thing that you have to beat the champion convincigly is crap and opens the door for such robberies like that decision. There is no way that Froch won more than 4 rounds. No ****ing way.
