lol you name one fighter who looked good against hopkins?

Taylor was young and energetic, but not impressive. Considering Hopkins was coming off a win over tarver and wright was ya not disappointed with his performance

and if dirrel would've opened up im sure we woulld of seen that froch

Dirrell didn't get "exposed". At best, he lost a narrow decision, and exposed a bit of naivity in making a bad game plan, or sticking to it.

sure rjj beat him, but it werent a pretty affair, anyone who's seen that fight will be dreading the rematch.

come on, calzaghe landed over 200 punches that night, he broke the record for landing on hopkins. the last 6 rounds hopkins looked exceptionally poor. calzaghe has always thrown wild punches (not as bad as witter but wild non the less)

its been the way of mexican pressure fighters for years, Froch sees himself as a warrior, reverting to another gameplan would be the same thing as saying "my style isnt working" plus after the taylor fight, would froch ever be expected to change his style, he got a beating that night but carried on and it paid off

disagree,he had some solid moments in the fight against hopkins especially the latter rounds the way he slapped him from side to side (round 11) which wound hopkins up enough for him to signal 'come on then' to which joe duly obliges only for hopkins to throw one and hold onto him...

and hopkins is known for making people look bad,and you have forgotten the amateur dramatics to which hopkins was reduced too, they both looked pretty terrible.

i know joe landed a lot but a ton of thse "punches" were slaps rewatch the fight and youll see this clearly he did land some good punches but those were single punches and thats not the way joe fights

even warriors have brains its just another tool at their disposal, honestly i saw froch get frusterated against dirrell in a way he did not against taylor, not every one is gona fight you in the same style and its your job to adapt and make changes so you can be effective
