Absolutely. A former Lightweight getting nailed on the button with a picture perfect left hook from a guy who could easily make Light Heavyweight.

Do you hire male escorts that look like Duran so you can do what you most want in this world and ride that nutsack?

Actually, the fact that he got up a few seconds after getting levelled with one of the most devastating punches I've ever seen is probably to his credit. Most fighters would have had their eyeballs collected from the upper tier after getting blown out by that right.

Tommy Hearns had likely the hardest right hand of any welterweight/super welterweight ever, and he threw that right hand with perfect technique, from a perfect angle, and it caught Duran directly on the point of the chin.

Considering Hearns would go on to fight at middleweight and light heavyweight, and still be considered a hard puncher at those weights is something to bear in my mind

Also to keep in my mind that in over 100 fights prior, Duran had never been knocked out. His only TKO loss by the fight against Leonard.

Consider also that his prime is unanimously agreed to have at 135, as a lightweight. And he was in a with a figher who was largely a natural 154, 160 pounder

Great punch, great resilience shown by Duran, but look what it did to the great man

If there was a category for boxing's toughest fighters Duran would always mention in the top 10.

I know, that one I just can't figure out. Duran's chin was normally iron, before and after.

It's one of those anomalies in boxing.

It really was a perfect right, wound up and with Duran coming into it. Fair play to him for getting up after it.
